With wireless data transfer rates of up to 2300 Mbps, the R7000P Nighthawk AC2300 Dual-Band Gigabit Router from NETGEAR is designed to offer the wireless bandwidth needed to stream multimedia content, download large files, and more all at the same time. The Nighthawk AC2300 also supports MU-MIMO technology providing multiple, separate data paths giving wireless users a dedicated connection to the network. Once configured, the R7000P supports 802.11a/b/g/n/ac Wi-Fi network standards and operates on the 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz frequencies. If a wired connection is needed the Nighthawk also features four Gigabit LAN ports as well as a single USB 3.0 port and a single USB 2.0 port to connect compatible USB peripherals directly to the network.
The R7000P Nighthawk isn’t your ordinary router and it comes equipped with a variety of features designed to enhance your network including Dynamic QoS, Smart Connect technology, a variety of network sharing apps, configuration utilities, and security applications to ensure you get the most out of your Nighthawk R7000P. With Dynamic QoS the Nighthawk is able to prioritize network traffic to ensure bandwidth heavy tasks such as streaming video, gaming, and other data hogging applications operate smoothly. Additionally, Smart Connect technology is designed to ensure every device is connected to the fastest available Wi-Fi Band.

I baought a smaller netgear router and it wouldnt connect! I tried fir 5 hours!!! So as I was totally frustrated, my parents came over and said “stop, we bought you the Nighthawk netgear” i wss stoked! It took me less than 45 minutes to get it registered and streaming. I live way up on a mountain and my internet receiver is way on top of another mountain beyond a range of very large pine trees! My reciever is way up in the top of a tree. Im so impressed how this router is working!!! Love it!

It is a rock star! I have the fastest internet I’ve ever had. I coordinated with my internet provider to make sure I didn’t have equipment too good (or not good enough) to support the faster internet speeds I just signed up for. All that to say, the Nighthawk was easy to install, works extremely well with our PCs, PS4, Roku TV and more! Easy to install!
