With wireless data transfer rates of up to 2300 Mbps, the R7000P Nighthawk AC2300 Dual-Band Gigabit Router from NETGEAR is designed to offer the wireless bandwidth needed to stream multimedia content, download large files, and more all at the same time. The Nighthawk AC2300 also supports MU-MIMO technology providing multiple, separate data paths giving wireless users a dedicated connection to the network. Once configured, the R7000P supports 802.11a/b/g/n/ac Wi-Fi network standards and operates on the 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz frequencies. If a wired connection is needed the Nighthawk also features four Gigabit LAN ports as well as a single USB 3.0 port and a single USB 2.0 port to connect compatible USB peripherals directly to the network.
The R7000P Nighthawk isn’t your ordinary router and it comes equipped with a variety of features designed to enhance your network including Dynamic QoS, Smart Connect technology, a variety of network sharing apps, configuration utilities, and security applications to ensure you get the most out of your Nighthawk R7000P. With Dynamic QoS the Nighthawk is able to prioritize network traffic to ensure bandwidth heavy tasks such as streaming video, gaming, and other data hogging applications operate smoothly. Additionally, Smart Connect technology is designed to ensure every device is connected to the fastest available Wi-Fi Band.

I have been dealing with the constant headache of cable network provider equipment from a faulty router not getting the speed that I’m paying for. Also some issues where the speed would fluctuate up and down. With the NETGEAR Nighthawk AC2300 I have had constant excellent performance. No more fluctuating signal. My internet speed is 100 mbps up and 100 mbps down. Since I’ve replace the old router with the Nighthawk I am actually getting 35 to 37 more mbps up and down CONSTANTLY!!! Also the greatest thing I forgot to mention is no more fees for renting faulty or outdated cable equipment.

I was having problems with an isp provide WiFi router. Especially the 2.4 and 5 ghz WiFi signals. I was told about the Nighthawk and decided to look into it. I purchased the R7000P and found out there was a whole world of difference especially in the additional range for both 2.4 and 5 ghz. Room in my home that barely would show a 5ghz signal and only three bars of 2.4 now have full bars of service for both. Even in my basement where I used to need a WiFi extender. I am more then pleased with my nighthawk and would highly recommend it to anyone.
