With wireless data transfer rates of up to 2300 Mbps, the R7000P Nighthawk AC2300 Dual-Band Gigabit Router from NETGEAR is designed to offer the wireless bandwidth needed to stream multimedia content, download large files, and more all at the same time. The Nighthawk AC2300 also supports MU-MIMO technology providing multiple, separate data paths giving wireless users a dedicated connection to the network. Once configured, the R7000P supports 802.11a/b/g/n/ac Wi-Fi network standards and operates on the 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz frequencies. If a wired connection is needed the Nighthawk also features four Gigabit LAN ports as well as a single USB 3.0 port and a single USB 2.0 port to connect compatible USB peripherals directly to the network.
The R7000P Nighthawk isn’t your ordinary router and it comes equipped with a variety of features designed to enhance your network including Dynamic QoS, Smart Connect technology, a variety of network sharing apps, configuration utilities, and security applications to ensure you get the most out of your Nighthawk R7000P. With Dynamic QoS the Nighthawk is able to prioritize network traffic to ensure bandwidth heavy tasks such as streaming video, gaming, and other data hogging applications operate smoothly. Additionally, Smart Connect technology is designed to ensure every device is connected to the fastest available Wi-Fi Band.

I love this new Netgear AC2300 router! It boost the 5g signal throughout my whole house and the 2.4g signal across almost my whole yard! This router fixed all my speed and connection problems we had with the Apple TVs, IPads, and cell phones we use in our house. I would highly recommend this router to anyone. It was the easiest router I have ever setup. The app makes it easy to monitor the internet usage across all devices. I like the slick, professional design look of the router itself. I love Netgear products and have always had great experiences with all the products I’ve purchased over the years. I would recommend this router to anyone that uses multiple WiFi devices in their home.

Worked great for a day, but hadn’t fully moved all of our devices from our old router and day 2 the internet was totally unstable. Not sure if it’s interference, but could not make it work. Going to try again when I have time to move everything at once and see how it goes. Definitely not a simple out of the box solution.
