Boost the speed and efficiency of your home Wi-Fi network with the Nighthawk AX12 12-Stream Wi-Fi 6 Router from Netgear. Equipped with eight internal antennas and capable of up to 6 Gb/s of total Wi-Fi throughout, this dual-band router supports the Wi-Fi 6 (802.11ax) wireless standard. Among the benefits of Wi-Fi 6 are multi-user MIMO support, which allows for multiple simultaneous data streams; OFDMA (orthogonal frequency division multiple access) support, which helps to enhance efficiency and reduce latency; and target wake time (TWT), which helps to optimize the battery life of connected mobile devices.
The Nighthawk AX12 comes equipped with four Gigabit Ethernet LAN ports, a Gigabit Ethernet LAN port, and a 5 Gb/s Ethernet port that allows for multi-gigabit wired connections. Two USB 3.0/3.1 Gen 1 Type-A ports let you share printers and storage devices, while WPA3 encryption helps to enhance security.

Who do I talk to when it comes to asking netgear to make the RAX 200 with the same gaming software as the XR700 and having 4 wan Ports for link aggregation with the cm1200 and have 4 10gb or better wan ports with 2 sets of 2 for link aggregation

Replaced linksys evolve with the Nighthawk AX12/12-Stream AX6000 WiFi router. The Nighthawk provides maximum download and upload speeds throughout my “large home” whereas the linksys speeds fluctuated causing streaming issues, etc. One word to describe the Nighthawk: Epic.

Considerable penetration through walls and increased distance over my N class router. My home is concrete and steel, it’s very difficult to get a router to cover more than a few rooms. This router reaches everything well with the exception of my furthest bedroom. The gigabit internet I have is also now reaching all my wireless devices which were idling around 400 mbps before. My desktop is screaming, with the 5gbps port I really get to see what my network chipset is capable of. You need to get into professional grade routers to beat this performance. Highly recommended.

I had another Mu-MIMO router, but it died, likely due to overheating. I purchased this one because it had a fan, which all modern routers should have, and had Mu-MIMO. I was not disappointed. The router takes a bit to learn what freq you need to be on, but after that…smooth sailing.

Very happy with the ease of migration from my R8000 with the Nighthawk app. All my wireless settings were migrated So I did not have to do the configuration from scratch. The port aggregation features are really nice.

I have used Netgear products for about 10 years and have always been happy with the quality of the gear. I allowed the FIOS guys to install their router when I installed their solution about 2 years ago. It always worked fine, but realized about a month ago (when the Internet got really busy) that my in home network was not as fast as it used to be. I decided to replace the FIOS router and went with the Nighthawk solution… amazing difference. I am getting over twice the upload and download speeds along with the ability to have a dedicated guest network. Also, I wanted to have a VPN solution for my home network for privacy issues as well as the ability to connect to my home network over a private VPN to the Nighthawk device. Works like a champ!!! Also, when I first brought up the Nighthawk router, it told me to download their app. Personally I thought this was garbage as I knew how to set up the device, but I have to say that the app is really nice and I use it regularly to see how the system is functioning. Great Product!!

This is a disappointing item that works worse than previous generations. I have a gib connection and I was only able to get 10mb downstairs in my 2200 sq ft home. The new app isn’t helpful and doesn’t help customers.

Super happy with the range and ability of the my AX1100. So much so I don’t need my extender anymore. The customer service team is one of the best I’ve come across. The issue I was having was due to my provider and the service team for Netgear were patient, and knowledgeable.
