Boost the speed and efficiency of your home Wi-Fi network with the Nighthawk AX12 12-Stream Wi-Fi 6 Router from Netgear. Equipped with eight internal antennas and capable of up to 6 Gb/s of total Wi-Fi throughout, this dual-band router supports the Wi-Fi 6 (802.11ax) wireless standard. Among the benefits of Wi-Fi 6 are multi-user MIMO support, which allows for multiple simultaneous data streams; OFDMA (orthogonal frequency division multiple access) support, which helps to enhance efficiency and reduce latency; and target wake time (TWT), which helps to optimize the battery life of connected mobile devices.
The Nighthawk AX12 comes equipped with four Gigabit Ethernet LAN ports, a Gigabit Ethernet LAN port, and a 5 Gb/s Ethernet port that allows for multi-gigabit wired connections. Two USB 3.0/3.1 Gen 1 Type-A ports let you share printers and storage devices, while WPA3 encryption helps to enhance security.

The first Nighthawk AX6000 kept restarting. After returning it for a second one, we now have fast and reliable wifi. Our Nighthawk runs a small offer and we often have 20 computers, phones, printers and a TV running at the same time. The speed is fast and the signal is strong throughout the entire office.

Talking about an upgrade, well this was it. Skeptical about the price, but the performance is incredible and easy to setup. I am getting speeds over 250kps on my phone(Samsung S10 ) so was able to take advantage of wifi 6. Reaches everywhere i. The hoise and shop!! The best part with kids working on school and two of workig from home NO slow downs at all!! None!! Management for guest and security scanning built in gives you a complete ease with others coming to the house.

Listen… I saw YouTube videos before I bought this wifi router especially because of the price tag. Previously I’ve owned a Nighthawk series and it was honestly time to get a new one but I didn’t know what to do. I experienced dead zones in my apartment, there’s really thick walls here. I’d go to the bathroom and lose wifi and honestly the living room was worse. Watching Shows and movies on devices like my Apple TV was buffering nightmare. I even paid to upgrade my internet speed with my service provider and it was just a waste of money and time. Finally I decided to invest in a new router and went ahead and paired it with a new modem – INSTANT RELIEF! This router packs a punch and more importantly NO MORE DEAD-ZONES! This router is wifi 6 ready and covers every inch of my home perfectly. Webpages, movies, shows, steaming, and gaming never went so smoothly before in my life. I’ve never seen things load this fast before it’s honestly like some kind of aircraft. It reminds me of a the Aurora fighter Jet and I mean speed wise it might as well be the wifi version of that Jet! Super happy with this purchase and so is the entire family, goodbye buffering and long loading times!

Our Netgear router is super fast. I love the app. Able to monitor usage of my son and turn off Wi-Fi when needed. I did need to call tech-support to set things up. But things went pretty smoothly. They were very helpful. I would highly recommend Netgear. It makes sense to use Wi-Fi 6 so we are compatible for the future.

Once you set this beast up, the skies are the limit! (Considering your isp has the speed to back it up) router has great range and super fast speeds especially with a WiFi 6 device. It is also backwards compatible with older devices which is great. Last thing to mention is that it looks like a Star Wars Sith Lord shuttle ship lol

The 2.5 and 5ghz bands when used together in the smart connect cause device mix communication. Also some features of Lower cost Negear AP’s not yet available like armor.

I live in a close or off the grid area where cell service is unavailable. I have a fiber input to my home and the 3500 radius is incredible. My old Netgear I barely got service at points in my house. Now I am comfortable in the woods directly behind my home and still getting enough service to use the internet.
