Boost the speed and efficiency of your home Wi-Fi network with the Nighthawk AX12 12-Stream Wi-Fi 6 Router from Netgear. Equipped with eight internal antennas and capable of up to 6 Gb/s of total Wi-Fi throughout, this dual-band router supports the Wi-Fi 6 (802.11ax) wireless standard. Among the benefits of Wi-Fi 6 are multi-user MIMO support, which allows for multiple simultaneous data streams; OFDMA (orthogonal frequency division multiple access) support, which helps to enhance efficiency and reduce latency; and target wake time (TWT), which helps to optimize the battery life of connected mobile devices.
The Nighthawk AX12 comes equipped with four Gigabit Ethernet LAN ports, a Gigabit Ethernet LAN port, and a 5 Gb/s Ethernet port that allows for multi-gigabit wired connections. Two USB 3.0/3.1 Gen 1 Type-A ports let you share printers and storage devices, while WPA3 encryption helps to enhance security.

The router works great with high speeds up and down in all rooms of my home.

Only wireless works now. Community support has no resolutions. Phone support it only 90 days. It appears that several people are having the same issues or had the same issues without resolution from Netgear.

I needed my WiFi to reach my room without an extender and once I installed it I had full home coverage. I recently upgraded to 1 GB download speed and I get the full potential of my internet due to the AX-12 12 Stream. I also love how the AX-12 blocks potential harmful websites and give you a notification directly to your mobile device.

The speed and tri-band system is awesome. Perfect for a big family to support multiple (8 ) devices and achieve the full capability of your high speed internet service simultaneously.

The router has performed well and is very fast along with managing network traffic between the various connected devices.

I have used D-Link routers (which, in my book are very under-rated) for as long as I can remember. It was time for a new router and in reading reviews, the RAX120 kept popping up with rave reviews. So I pulled the trigger. It’s been a little over a week since I set it up and speed and connection are extremely good. In fact, I sent a screenshot of my WiFi speeds to my friend and he said he ordered one the very next day!

I have had many routers but this one by far is the best for speed. My whole house house is connected with such fast speed now. No more buffering for me on my shows… Awesome Router Netgear!!!

I love this router and the speeds I’m getting off it but what concerns me is that when I do test speeds once a day, my speeds aren’t consistent. One day I’m getting 480mbps download speeds, the next day I’m barely getting 200 mbps. Under the same conditions too. I’m the only one use my device too. Otherwise when I’m getting 480 mbps speeds or higher, I’m loving it

Changed from an older Netgear to the RAX120. I was able to remove the two extenders in the house, that would have a hard time reaching the signal from the old Netgear… Now we have wifi outside the house!!

While I believe that a router needs to be upgraded every 2 years, if I knew this router was that much better than most of what is out there, I might’ve made the jump earlier. Speeds are solid, and higher than with synology. Make the jump and you won’t regret it.

I just got the unit so I’m still testing it. It’s pretty fast, even for non-WiFi 6 ready devices. On my iPhone X, I used to get around 400mbps in a gigabit internet, but this one gives me around 600mbps. However, I noticed it often disconnects from my devices for a few seconds. I hope this does not become a thing. Overall, I am pleased with it.

This router can handle many connections at once, the WiFi 6 capability a plus, very fast router.

Vendors in HK listed this router with WPA3 support however indeed not! And actually this router has slower CPU and only 2.5G port which is compare to RAX120 with 5G port? To be fair I am impressed with the Wifi speed and it is stable. Only thing is I cannot disable DoS and Portscan protection not sure if it is because of it is in ROUTER mode? Not recommending is because the higher cost does not justify the slower CPU slower port compare to a lower model RAX120 although I understand this is triband router. And most importantly no WPA3 despite some online vendor description and again RAX120 has it from day one!

I got a cheap internet router then came with the service. I needed a router, was taken back by the price but was brought back by the envy of how fast this is. Maybe other things in life can zoom zoom zoom. Thanks!
