Boost the speed and efficiency of your home Wi-Fi network with the Nighthawk AX12 12-Stream Wi-Fi 6 Router from Netgear. Equipped with eight internal antennas and capable of up to 6 Gb/s of total Wi-Fi throughout, this dual-band router supports the Wi-Fi 6 (802.11ax) wireless standard. Among the benefits of Wi-Fi 6 are multi-user MIMO support, which allows for multiple simultaneous data streams; OFDMA (orthogonal frequency division multiple access) support, which helps to enhance efficiency and reduce latency; and target wake time (TWT), which helps to optimize the battery life of connected mobile devices.
The Nighthawk AX12 comes equipped with four Gigabit Ethernet LAN ports, a Gigabit Ethernet LAN port, and a 5 Gb/s Ethernet port that allows for multi-gigabit wired connections. Two USB 3.0/3.1 Gen 1 Type-A ports let you share printers and storage devices, while WPA3 encryption helps to enhance security.

Previously had a Night Hawk for almost 5 years till sadly it died. The next day we did some reviews and found this one and jumped. Setup was easy (minus I hate the app stuff I miss the old school hook into it and setup) but times change and you adapt. After setup and updating we starting connecting devices and wow what a deference with things running between gaming consoles and smart tvs and phones everything is running great.

Dumped the old Comcast router for the Ax12. Wow what’s huge difference! I now have almost no reduction of speed across WiFi. Where with previous router it was more than half the speed at the tap. I’ll never go back to the all in one company supplied modem/router again.

I have only had the router for a week. It is very expensive and I am leery of its performance. The last two Netgear routers I have had were troublesome and I had to return them. Constantly rebooting, 2.4 network dropping out and unable to connect. Inability to upgrade firmware, just to name a few problems. I have used Netgear products for a long time, but the quality has been lacking as of late. I need a fast stable network, as I have to work from home and my children are distance learning. It is critical that I have a reliable router.
