Boost the speed and efficiency of your home Wi-Fi network with the Nighthawk AX12 12-Stream Wi-Fi 6 Router from Netgear. Equipped with eight internal antennas and capable of up to 6 Gb/s of total Wi-Fi throughout, this dual-band router supports the Wi-Fi 6 (802.11ax) wireless standard. Among the benefits of Wi-Fi 6 are multi-user MIMO support, which allows for multiple simultaneous data streams; OFDMA (orthogonal frequency division multiple access) support, which helps to enhance efficiency and reduce latency; and target wake time (TWT), which helps to optimize the battery life of connected mobile devices.
The Nighthawk AX12 comes equipped with four Gigabit Ethernet LAN ports, a Gigabit Ethernet LAN port, and a 5 Gb/s Ethernet port that allows for multi-gigabit wired connections. Two USB 3.0/3.1 Gen 1 Type-A ports let you share printers and storage devices, while WPA3 encryption helps to enhance security.

This router serves our office. Has great range. We did have an issue with a conflicting IP address (not caused by the router) and the NetGear tech support was lacking. Ending u p sorting it out ourselves while on hold. Otherwise would be 5 stars

We use ARMOR and wired throughput is excellent with the 2.2ghz core processor; wireless, even at 25% power setting, easily powers devices through one interior wall containing steel studs, and full power easily covers 2900 sq feet. Armor works well with 5 computers + 14 devices – streaming video quality is also sharper. Packet loss is below threshold, and we consistently receive reduced latency and improved download and upload times.

Connected to CM1200 and thought I would have a good setup. After getting help from three Netgear reps, I came to the realization that the range of this router was was insufficient for a 2500 square foot house. I ended up returning to the store. Pretty good speed if you are using a laptop next to the router, but it did a bad job when I used the laptop downstairs.

Compare to an earlier nighthawk router, the wireless speed has remained the same, though a bit more stable, using xfinity (Comcast) service provider

Coming from the Nighthawk X6, this is a huge upgrade that is well worth it. Along with the Netgear Modem. The speed I get now are amazing. 10/10 would recommend that everyone with multiple Wi-Fi devices gets this router!

This is my second Nighthawk router. Previously I used R8000. I wanted to get AX11000 but it was already sold out. Got this one instead.Overall great router. Easy and quick setup. Management interface should be a bit quicker.

My internet speed is roughly 480 Mbps coming into the modem. With this router being on the second floor, I can get 470 Mpbs Wifi on my first floor and 450 in my basement. Impressive numbers. I’ve had zero connectivity issues with this router once setup properly. I did need to uncheck AX WiFi in the settings to support an older laptop that couldn’t see my network. I am guessing the network adapter needs a newer driver or possibly the router will fix it with firmware. I was a little reluctant to spend this much on a router but it was worth it for the performance and future proofing.

My new NETGEAR Nighthawk AX 12/12-Stream AX 11000 (RAX200) exceeds my expectations. I have my PC, my television, two tablets, four smart phones, my brinks home security system with indoor and outdoor wireless cameras, motion sensors, windows and door contact sensor, garage door controller, my new truck, and multiple accessories like my Harmany all in one remote control for my theater system to my Hughes lighting system and more. With the smart connect I don’t have to give my password out when friends visits and want to connect to my Wi-Fi. All my friends family colleagues acquaintances just have to be near my smart phone that is connected to the router and they can connect without me having to put my password in their phone. Or Even better I can login to the Netgear app and create a guest pass with an allotted amount of time that I approve them to use my WFi wether it be one hour, one day, one week etc. with the guest pass on the NETGEAR app I can monitor the usage. And even with all of these items connected to the router I have yet to experience any lag or delay in my Wi-Fi. It is by far the fastest and most advanced router I’ve ever owned.
