Boost the speed and efficiency of your home Wi-Fi network with the Nighthawk AX12 12-Stream Wi-Fi 6 Router from Netgear. Equipped with eight internal antennas and capable of up to 6 Gb/s of total Wi-Fi throughout, this dual-band router supports the Wi-Fi 6 (802.11ax) wireless standard. Among the benefits of Wi-Fi 6 are multi-user MIMO support, which allows for multiple simultaneous data streams; OFDMA (orthogonal frequency division multiple access) support, which helps to enhance efficiency and reduce latency; and target wake time (TWT), which helps to optimize the battery life of connected mobile devices.
The Nighthawk AX12 comes equipped with four Gigabit Ethernet LAN ports, a Gigabit Ethernet LAN port, and a 5 Gb/s Ethernet port that allows for multi-gigabit wired connections. Two USB 3.0/3.1 Gen 1 Type-A ports let you share printers and storage devices, while WPA3 encryption helps to enhance security.

The router is great. Important problem: UI has removed “Remote Management” On/Off switch, now its always accessible by web. This is a security issue!

As a Multi-Family home this router is amazing! We have a total of 4 adults and 3 kids living in out home and the router is flawless. The amount of devices attached to this router is about 50 and i would say 25 are on at a time and this router never gets congested. i never see down time. 4k content runs flawlessly as my kids play on their tablets and I game on my PC. 10/10 Netgear has some on the best if not the Best home networking equipment i have ever owned.

Easy setup, and lightning fast. Everything was setup using my iPhone, and it took a lot shorter than the previous WiFi Router it replaced. The speed blew me away, in tests as well as being able to load websites. My WiFi enabled printer started working again. We got the AX 12/12-stream so we could have our whole family using devices for everything from homework to gaming and streaming videos. Also so we could expand into interconnected home devices. It has been great! True to advice, the 5G streaming does not penetrate as many walls as the 2.4G, but we have our AX 12 tucked in the corner of our house- 2 stories, 3200 sq.ft., and the coverage is fantastic. It is more peaceful to have no dropped data. Love it. Also: We love that Netgear makes it easy to create our own WiFi name and password.
