Boost the speed and efficiency of your home Wi-Fi network with the Nighthawk AX12 12-Stream Wi-Fi 6 Router from Netgear. Equipped with eight internal antennas and capable of up to 6 Gb/s of total Wi-Fi throughout, this dual-band router supports the Wi-Fi 6 (802.11ax) wireless standard. Among the benefits of Wi-Fi 6 are multi-user MIMO support, which allows for multiple simultaneous data streams; OFDMA (orthogonal frequency division multiple access) support, which helps to enhance efficiency and reduce latency; and target wake time (TWT), which helps to optimize the battery life of connected mobile devices.
The Nighthawk AX12 comes equipped with four Gigabit Ethernet LAN ports, a Gigabit Ethernet LAN port, and a 5 Gb/s Ethernet port that allows for multi-gigabit wired connections. Two USB 3.0/3.1 Gen 1 Type-A ports let you share printers and storage devices, while WPA3 encryption helps to enhance security.

Had my Linksys lose it 5ghz signal, kept having problems with it and decided to replace it with the Netgear Nighthawk AX12. Easy to setup using my smartphone and the Nighthawk app up in about 15 minutes. Nice to have the ability to designate one of the 5ghz signal for the smart TV and for streaming and the other for my laptops and such. Very worth the cost and would do it again.

I needed a router that can handle many computers/tablets and connected devices – cameras, speakers and such. This router does that well. The set up was straight forward through the Nighthawk app. I did have to add an extender to reach an outside camera in a difficult location, otherwise it is handling up to 43 devices well. I would recommend this powerful router.

This product is absolute garbage. I have just bought it but had nothing but trouble with it. I have to spoof the MAC address just to get it to work. If you’re familiar with mac addresses only one can be in use. So when using the wifi (THE MAIN USE) then you’re screwed if the mac address from your phone or other device connects as it will constantly throw you off the internet. I have a far worse router from another company (apparently cant mention competitors in a review pffft) that works better than this piece of junk. all i had to do was plug it in and it worked AND its no where near the price/ capabilities of this product. i would expected this product to work after plugging it in for the outrageous price it has. I WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND NO ONE BUY THIS AT ALL. unless you like to spending countless hours trying to configure your mac address.

Set up was NOT easy. Initially, could not get app to work. Ended up going online to do setup and then ran into a few issues. Took around 5-6 hours due to issues. Now, 10-14 days in, router seems to be working well. Appreciate ability to customize for my needs and like the WPA3/increased security.

i upgraded from a previous version of the Nighthawk. This one is great i can now get wireless in my disconnected back garage. Heck it even reached down to the lake now! It was so easy to install and setup took me about 5 mins to get everything up and going. Longest part was the updates it needed to run and those were quick.

I had a previous model of the Nightwalk and it was starting to give me some issues on connecting certain devices to it. I called up NETGEAR customer service and gave them the situation on what was going on. They help me out on solutions and we both agreed on upgrading to a different model. With an very extensive list on newer models and which ones were with my current internet provider, we came to choosing the Nighthawk AX11000. Once I got it in hand and unboxed, the card for quick start was super easy and very user friendly. Once plugged in, app downloaded and everything updated, it was up and running. Since the switch the the Nighthawk AX11000, we were able to connect to all devices especially the ones that were having issues previously. Also having 3 different channels to help with the load of devices connected, there hasn’t been any buffering issues at all. Definitely worth the purchase!
