Boost the speed and efficiency of your home Wi-Fi network with the Nighthawk AX12 12-Stream Wi-Fi 6 Router from Netgear. Equipped with eight internal antennas and capable of up to 6 Gb/s of total Wi-Fi throughout, this dual-band router supports the Wi-Fi 6 (802.11ax) wireless standard. Among the benefits of Wi-Fi 6 are multi-user MIMO support, which allows for multiple simultaneous data streams; OFDMA (orthogonal frequency division multiple access) support, which helps to enhance efficiency and reduce latency; and target wake time (TWT), which helps to optimize the battery life of connected mobile devices.
The Nighthawk AX12 comes equipped with four Gigabit Ethernet LAN ports, a Gigabit Ethernet LAN port, and a 5 Gb/s Ethernet port that allows for multi-gigabit wired connections. Two USB 3.0/3.1 Gen 1 Type-A ports let you share printers and storage devices, while WPA3 encryption helps to enhance security.

I had a hard time hooking up the router. The nighthawk app could not find the router. Set up took longer than it should have. Most wireless items were found and setup effortlessly. I had to update the bluetooth driver on a computer and have an Amazon Firestick that worked great with my old router and wont stay connected longer than ten minutes utes with this one. Once set up the range is great, signal is strong , it is fast. I have lost signal a couple of times in the past week, this may not be a router issue.

I hit gigabyte space wired but I can’t hit gigabyte speed’s wireless. Maximum I can get wireless is 300 mbps

I bought this to replace my 5 year old Linksys due to the growing number of devices connected for streaming. I split the two 5ghz radios and attached devices accordingly. I also now have 802.11ax devices and testing how that works on the Nethawk, so far it works well
