Boost the speed and efficiency of your home Wi-Fi network with the Nighthawk AX12 12-Stream Wi-Fi 6 Router from Netgear. Equipped with eight internal antennas and capable of up to 6 Gb/s of total Wi-Fi throughout, this dual-band router supports the Wi-Fi 6 (802.11ax) wireless standard. Among the benefits of Wi-Fi 6 are multi-user MIMO support, which allows for multiple simultaneous data streams; OFDMA (orthogonal frequency division multiple access) support, which helps to enhance efficiency and reduce latency; and target wake time (TWT), which helps to optimize the battery life of connected mobile devices.
The Nighthawk AX12 comes equipped with four Gigabit Ethernet LAN ports, a Gigabit Ethernet LAN port, and a 5 Gb/s Ethernet port that allows for multi-gigabit wired connections. Two USB 3.0/3.1 Gen 1 Type-A ports let you share printers and storage devices, while WPA3 encryption helps to enhance security.

I had my 4 kids doing online school using the Comcast router, the internet constantly was dropping and going so slow! I decided to invest in a Netgear router and modem, it was expensive, but has been worth every penny! I no longer pay the stupid Comcast rental fee, plus I didn’t pay to upgrade grade my internet, and now my internet never drops, is fast, easy to connect, and stays connected, just by changing my router and modem, plus I can control it all from my phone, like I can turn it off when I want my kids off the computer. Highly recommend, has definitely been worth the investment!

I like the interfaces via a phone app and web page. The router will access my new fiber line of 1gigabit with speed tests of 940 mbps upload and download. The only down side is that I noticed is that wireless connections will not log back in after a day or two of the router running all my phones say authentication failed, I reboot the router and then will work fine for a day or two. Will update review with 5 stars once this issue is resolved.

Constant disconnects both wireless and ethernet! I’ve gone through 3 firmware upgrades and still no fix! I spent WAY to much money for this product to continuously (3x’s a day) drop out! Disconnecting in the middle of a work conference when it’s you briefing everyone is not the highlight of my day! Like the subject states, DON’T DO IT!! I am going with a different brand that I can trust!
