Boost the speed and efficiency of your home Wi-Fi network with the Nighthawk AX12 12-Stream Wi-Fi 6 Router from Netgear. Equipped with eight internal antennas and capable of up to 6 Gb/s of total Wi-Fi throughout, this dual-band router supports the Wi-Fi 6 (802.11ax) wireless standard. Among the benefits of Wi-Fi 6 are multi-user MIMO support, which allows for multiple simultaneous data streams; OFDMA (orthogonal frequency division multiple access) support, which helps to enhance efficiency and reduce latency; and target wake time (TWT), which helps to optimize the battery life of connected mobile devices.
The Nighthawk AX12 comes equipped with four Gigabit Ethernet LAN ports, a Gigabit Ethernet LAN port, and a 5 Gb/s Ethernet port that allows for multi-gigabit wired connections. Two USB 3.0/3.1 Gen 1 Type-A ports let you share printers and storage devices, while WPA3 encryption helps to enhance security.

I bought this router about a month ago but ran into the same problem the other reviewers had – dropped devices. I had upgraded the firmware and power-cycled to reboot. I think my problem was outlined in many of the reviews (dropped devices).. Rather than returning though, I decided to try their tech support (contacted through the app). An expert called me back with 2 hours and walked me through and helped me update the firmware (including a hard rest with the button in the back, rather than power-cycling). This seemed to fix my problem. Glad I did…great router…and great tech support!

This product is crazy. I had a regular att router which barely gave any WiFi service. I hooked up this nighthawk router and bam me and my wife are downloading and gaming at 150mbs per second. Highly recommend to anyone with an oddly shaped home that their normal router won’t cover or a large home.
