Boost the speed and efficiency of your home Wi-Fi network with the Nighthawk AX12 12-Stream Wi-Fi 6 Router from Netgear. Equipped with eight internal antennas and capable of up to 6 Gb/s of total Wi-Fi throughout, this dual-band router supports the Wi-Fi 6 (802.11ax) wireless standard. Among the benefits of Wi-Fi 6 are multi-user MIMO support, which allows for multiple simultaneous data streams; OFDMA (orthogonal frequency division multiple access) support, which helps to enhance efficiency and reduce latency; and target wake time (TWT), which helps to optimize the battery life of connected mobile devices.
The Nighthawk AX12 comes equipped with four Gigabit Ethernet LAN ports, a Gigabit Ethernet LAN port, and a 5 Gb/s Ethernet port that allows for multi-gigabit wired connections. Two USB 3.0/3.1 Gen 1 Type-A ports let you share printers and storage devices, while WPA3 encryption helps to enhance security.

It matches the best fiber optic internet out there. Make sure you get the mesh extender if you’ve got a big house hold and lots of devices. Definitely make sure your internet provider can provide the high speed that this equipment can handle or it’s not worth it. No lag time and no interruptionsz

I did not realize how slow my old router was! I upgraded to high speed internet at 1000 mbs. However, all my devices would only download at around 50 to 75 mbs. I thought the devices were limited to that maximum speed. After installing the nighthawk, I have reached download speeds of 750 mbs at the opposite end of the house. What a difference. Well worth the investment.

Everything in my house is now connected without a glitch. 4 Ring Floodcams, 1 Ring Video Doorbell Pro, 8 NVR Cams, TV, Locks, Garage Door, IPad, Computer, Cell Phones, SimpliSafe Alarm, Nest Devices, and several other devices. As I started to my router, I lost connectivity, with My AX12/12, it was a simple plug and go, this router set itself up! No dead zones either.
