Boost the speed and efficiency of your home Wi-Fi network with the Nighthawk AX12 12-Stream Wi-Fi 6 Router from Netgear. Equipped with eight internal antennas and capable of up to 6 Gb/s of total Wi-Fi throughout, this dual-band router supports the Wi-Fi 6 (802.11ax) wireless standard. Among the benefits of Wi-Fi 6 are multi-user MIMO support, which allows for multiple simultaneous data streams; OFDMA (orthogonal frequency division multiple access) support, which helps to enhance efficiency and reduce latency; and target wake time (TWT), which helps to optimize the battery life of connected mobile devices.
The Nighthawk AX12 comes equipped with four Gigabit Ethernet LAN ports, a Gigabit Ethernet LAN port, and a 5 Gb/s Ethernet port that allows for multi-gigabit wired connections. Two USB 3.0/3.1 Gen 1 Type-A ports let you share printers and storage devices, while WPA3 encryption helps to enhance security.

As soon as I logged on everything was different! Everything was so quick trying to look things up . I was having to unplug and plug everything in thinking it was our internet provider. It has not happened since. Very happy with this product.

This did not do any better of a job than my Xfinity Cable Modem/Router. Not better coverage, no better speeds and the Netgear app only does certain things. All in all for the price, just not worth it!!!!!!!

Router installed with no problems. I use a lot of static routes so it took awhile to put in all my routes. For some reason it put router in a new account not the account my old router was in. I had to call support about this problem.

First, I’m not the most tech inclined guy. Was just looking for a better router to handle the ever increasing WiFi device load. That being 5 Arlo security cameras, 2 laptops, 2 cell phones, two Ethernet connected laptops, and two smart TVs (and counting) and throw in a WiFi connected printer. Sorry about the lack of technicality in this phrase, but “every device is faster”. Easily two to three times as fast.
