Boost the speed and efficiency of your home Wi-Fi network with the Nighthawk AX12 12-Stream Wi-Fi 6 Router from Netgear. Equipped with eight internal antennas and capable of up to 6 Gb/s of total Wi-Fi throughout, this dual-band router supports the Wi-Fi 6 (802.11ax) wireless standard. Among the benefits of Wi-Fi 6 are multi-user MIMO support, which allows for multiple simultaneous data streams; OFDMA (orthogonal frequency division multiple access) support, which helps to enhance efficiency and reduce latency; and target wake time (TWT), which helps to optimize the battery life of connected mobile devices.
The Nighthawk AX12 comes equipped with four Gigabit Ethernet LAN ports, a Gigabit Ethernet LAN port, and a 5 Gb/s Ethernet port that allows for multi-gigabit wired connections. Two USB 3.0/3.1 Gen 1 Type-A ports let you share printers and storage devices, while WPA3 encryption helps to enhance security.

Honestly I was the type of person that always believed that the closer the router is to your computer or whatever piece of tech you are using. So when I paid for 250mb from my ISP and only received 20mb I called them and complained , they told me to get a new router. I yelled at them and told them they are crazy and blamed them for shorting us on the connection. I moved my router to the room my computer was in but I still wasn’t receiving the 250mb that I was promised. I decided at that time that I was going to buy a router but not just any router , I wanted one that was so equipped with features that my ISP couldn’t not blame it on the router that I was still getting 20mb. But to my surprise , when I installed this AX6000 and did a speed test and I got 250mb. Not only was this beast of a router way better than expectations, it also was the easiest thing to install.

I never leave reviews but this router is amazing! I have the 500 Mbps service and consistently get 580 to 590 Mbps on the other side of the house. A little disappointed that the only VPN available is PureVPN but hoping this gets addressed in future firmware updates. Would highly recommend this router. It will not disappoint.

Installation was very simple and finally I am able to get the full speed my service provider providing even on Wifi. I have a 1GB internet speed and on WIFI on AX12 am getting 941MBP when previously I did not exceed the 300MBP with old router

Router covers wifi throughout the whole house, no problem with signal loss. 5G speeds are really fast. Expensive, but would buy if you have the money.

Giving it 3 stars for now. After more time I will give a definitive review. Set up with either the app or with direct log in is simple and pain less. Coverage of great and speeds when working correctly are good. Had to work with support to see similar mbps over WiFi when compared to ISP equipment. Currently trying to work out if the router or modem is the culprit for loss in speeds daily. Have to reboot 1-2 times daily or speeds fall from 400-500 mbps over WiFi and 900 wired to 30-40 and less mbps over both wired and WiFi. Maybe be settings or firmware issues
