Boost the speed and efficiency of your home Wi-Fi network with the Nighthawk AX12 12-Stream Wi-Fi 6 Router from Netgear. Equipped with eight internal antennas and capable of up to 6 Gb/s of total Wi-Fi throughout, this dual-band router supports the Wi-Fi 6 (802.11ax) wireless standard. Among the benefits of Wi-Fi 6 are multi-user MIMO support, which allows for multiple simultaneous data streams; OFDMA (orthogonal frequency division multiple access) support, which helps to enhance efficiency and reduce latency; and target wake time (TWT), which helps to optimize the battery life of connected mobile devices.
The Nighthawk AX12 comes equipped with four Gigabit Ethernet LAN ports, a Gigabit Ethernet LAN port, and a 5 Gb/s Ethernet port that allows for multi-gigabit wired connections. Two USB 3.0/3.1 Gen 1 Type-A ports let you share printers and storage devices, while WPA3 encryption helps to enhance security.

Great router. They replaced our modem on the same day I got the Nighthawk AX12. Set up was reasonably easy once I downloaded the APP. Speeds have been extremely fast according to the APP. I updated the firmware remotely! That was cool. It looks a lot like a stealth bomber at 1/16 scale.

The router needs more ethernet ports like anywhere from 10 to 16 to make it a viable product for heavy use. Other than that the router performs really well with its current features like wifi 6.

The NETGEAR AX12 is awesome for streaming HD TV to both of my TVs at the same time and providing internet connectivity to my multiple computers and other devices. There is absolutely no buffering. Had this router for several day and unfortunately has not delivered the speed or performance expected. Additionally, its compatibility running both 2.4 and 5.0 Ghz band do not really work as expected. Most of the devices are connecting to the 2.4 band and those connecting to the 5.0 bank still not running at the advertised speed, bearly at 308 mbps even when within 4 to 6 feet from the router.
