Boost the speed and efficiency of your home Wi-Fi network with the Nighthawk AX12 12-Stream Wi-Fi 6 Router from Netgear. Equipped with eight internal antennas and capable of up to 6 Gb/s of total Wi-Fi throughout, this dual-band router supports the Wi-Fi 6 (802.11ax) wireless standard. Among the benefits of Wi-Fi 6 are multi-user MIMO support, which allows for multiple simultaneous data streams; OFDMA (orthogonal frequency division multiple access) support, which helps to enhance efficiency and reduce latency; and target wake time (TWT), which helps to optimize the battery life of connected mobile devices.
The Nighthawk AX12 comes equipped with four Gigabit Ethernet LAN ports, a Gigabit Ethernet LAN port, and a 5 Gb/s Ethernet port that allows for multi-gigabit wired connections. Two USB 3.0/3.1 Gen 1 Type-A ports let you share printers and storage devices, while WPA3 encryption helps to enhance security.

This router exceeded all of my expectations. I am able to get gigabit speeds over WiFi from all of my WiFi 6 capable devices. I also have several devices hardwired through a separate switch with no issues. I highly recommend that the Netgear CM2000 cable modem be used with the RAX120! None of the routers I’ve used in the past have come close to this experience!

Works great with the new phone that supports the WiFi 6 chip not so much with my laptop that still has the WiFi 5 chip. So overall it has improved the rest of the tech that are connected to it.

Okay I’m officially impressed…I have the rax200 in my basement.. we’re upstairs one floor 40 ft away from the router. I bought my wife a surface pro 7 quad core I7 with wifi 6..intel 2×2 ax adapter.. I did a speedtest by Ookla.. I have comcast 1gig service the adapter connected at 2.4gbps.. speedtest results were 926mbps down wifi on a 1gig service.. Totally impressed.. I have 5 wifi 6 clients in my house..I’m about to have nine and they all have wifi 6 download speeds

I never write reviews, but this is one of the worst products I have ever purchased. Like so many other people have mentioned, it randomly reboots multiple times a day. Based on other reviews and the Netgear community forum, this has been a known issue for a while without a fix. Support is of no help. For the price, the product should not have this issue.

We were having slow internet, delays in streaming and just frustrated with our internet service. We have ring devices, nest thermostat, 4 phones, 3 ipads, smart plugs Plus 2 of us work from home. We had a standard router that spectrum had given us and it just couldnt handle the load. This thing has made a big difference, no more delays in uploads or downloads. No more spinning wheels when streaming. The set up was simple and fast. Yes it was expensive but I think worth it if you have a lot of devices.
