Boost the speed and efficiency of your home Wi-Fi network with the Nighthawk AX12 12-Stream Wi-Fi 6 Router from Netgear. Equipped with eight internal antennas and capable of up to 6 Gb/s of total Wi-Fi throughout, this dual-band router supports the Wi-Fi 6 (802.11ax) wireless standard. Among the benefits of Wi-Fi 6 are multi-user MIMO support, which allows for multiple simultaneous data streams; OFDMA (orthogonal frequency division multiple access) support, which helps to enhance efficiency and reduce latency; and target wake time (TWT), which helps to optimize the battery life of connected mobile devices.
The Nighthawk AX12 comes equipped with four Gigabit Ethernet LAN ports, a Gigabit Ethernet LAN port, and a 5 Gb/s Ethernet port that allows for multi-gigabit wired connections. Two USB 3.0/3.1 Gen 1 Type-A ports let you share printers and storage devices, while WPA3 encryption helps to enhance security.

The new Nighthawk AX12 is absolutely amazing. I have gone through several WiFi routers that are supposed to be designed for the whole home but I’ve still always had to buy a couple of range extenders to get adequate signal throughout my home. Since installing the Nighthawk AX12, I have not had to use any extenders. This router gives me full signal throughout my entire home and I don’t have any buffering when streaming on multiple devices. It was also very easy to set up. I highly recommend this device to everyone!

for a few months now i have been researching what is the best router on the market and came across this GEM. I use to rent a Modem/Router combo from my internet provider which was garbage. even forking out a premium to get Gigabit speeds i would only see a fraction of that even when i was hard wired in. Since day one i have noticed dramatic speed and reliability across my home with no dead spots. hard wire i am getting speeds of 980 Mbps and on wireless i get 550 Mbps even from the farthest room from the router. Hands down this router has exceeded my expectation and highly recommend it. I know its a bit pricey but for the speeds and reliability that this router has provided in just a few weeks is worth every penny.

The router is pretty amazing, there are times where the connection drops. But so far so good. Wish the app had more features such as having smart connect on but also being able to pick which bands you want each device on.

picked up a nighthawk and a mesh extender for our small building. Walls are Brick and Galvanized steel so reception has been horrible but with the extender i can now get a signal beyond where i need it.

I bought the router a few weeks ago because my old router was not letting my bandwidth through ,I never knew there was a difference between a WiFi 5 and a WiFi 6 router but low and behold there’s a big difference between them and the better router is the wifi 6 router. I’m glad I bought the WiFi 6 router it does everything that I need it to and more , thanks for a great product.

Speeds are great and I have much better reception in areas of my house that were previously dead-zones. First router I received had an issue with the 5Ghz band disconnecting, but tech support was excellent and I received a replacement quickly. It’s been working well since.
