Boost the speed and efficiency of your home Wi-Fi network with the Nighthawk AX12 12-Stream Wi-Fi 6 Router from Netgear. Equipped with eight internal antennas and capable of up to 6 Gb/s of total Wi-Fi throughout, this dual-band router supports the Wi-Fi 6 (802.11ax) wireless standard. Among the benefits of Wi-Fi 6 are multi-user MIMO support, which allows for multiple simultaneous data streams; OFDMA (orthogonal frequency division multiple access) support, which helps to enhance efficiency and reduce latency; and target wake time (TWT), which helps to optimize the battery life of connected mobile devices.
The Nighthawk AX12 comes equipped with four Gigabit Ethernet LAN ports, a Gigabit Ethernet LAN port, and a 5 Gb/s Ethernet port that allows for multi-gigabit wired connections. Two USB 3.0/3.1 Gen 1 Type-A ports let you share printers and storage devices, while WPA3 encryption helps to enhance security.

We had a struggling network set up in our 4 bedroom home. About 20 devices are connected and 2-4 people trying to stream at the same time. Network congestion was a real pain. I didn’t know anything about wifi 6 until we were looking to replace our dying old router. The ability for our router to talk to several devices at the same time, has definitely helped congestion. Also, the 5Ghz signal can actually be used in the far corner of our house where previously the signal was too weak. We are very happy with our purchase, even if it is one of the pricier routers we’ve ever bought. In comparison to other wifi 6 routers on the market, the value seems right with this one.

Having some issues with my AX12 with one specific device so I contacted support. Once the support member was having me change WiFi settings and test the network speed via Ethernet, I knew I was in for a real humdinger. I was told it takes 24-48hrs for my router to implement changes that I made as well, like changing the channel if the the 2.4 and 5Ghz WiFi … the call was quite hilarious to be honest. It just sucks to pay so much for something and get subpar support for it. I still have some time to figure it out but if I don’t I’m taking it back.

Love the router, hate the price. Yes, it is expensive but I went from a 3-unit Mesh system to just this in a three level 2,500 ft. house. I love that it has the latest technology in terms of security and radios. I also love that you can manage it from your phone or computer from within your network and with your phone from anywhere.

So far, very pleased with the RAX120. The range is pretty solid for a single unit setup and the speed is unmatched. While there aren’t any AX devices yet, I’m seeing the fastest speeds ever on my existing AC devices.

Does a great job of handling the traffic of our smart home with several devices connected to the wifi. The app takes longer than I’d like to connect to the router. Making changes to settings is slow in both the app and from a computer. A little expensive but you won’t regret your purchase.

Just replaced Linksys evolve with the Nighthawk AX12/12-Stream AX6000 WiFi Router. The Nighthawk provides maximum download and upload speeds throughout my “large home” whereas the Linksys evolve speeds fluctuated causing poor streaming, etc. One word to describe the Nighthawk performance: Epic.
