Boost the speed and efficiency of your home Wi-Fi network with the Nighthawk AX12 12-Stream Wi-Fi 6 Router from Netgear. Equipped with eight internal antennas and capable of up to 6 Gb/s of total Wi-Fi throughout, this dual-band router supports the Wi-Fi 6 (802.11ax) wireless standard. Among the benefits of Wi-Fi 6 are multi-user MIMO support, which allows for multiple simultaneous data streams; OFDMA (orthogonal frequency division multiple access) support, which helps to enhance efficiency and reduce latency; and target wake time (TWT), which helps to optimize the battery life of connected mobile devices.
The Nighthawk AX12 comes equipped with four Gigabit Ethernet LAN ports, a Gigabit Ethernet LAN port, and a 5 Gb/s Ethernet port that allows for multi-gigabit wired connections. Two USB 3.0/3.1 Gen 1 Type-A ports let you share printers and storage devices, while WPA3 encryption helps to enhance security.

A Good router the only problem I had that it didn’t reach my entire house even with the Wi-Fi extender that I have from Netgear also are used to have the NETGEAR X 10 And it was really good no problems at all. But I wanted to upgrade to a newer one so I got this one and the Internet we drop our loose connection everywhere I reset it a bunch of times same thing over and over I kept it run for about a week after that I just returned it back and I kept my NETGEAR x10

After setup you can monitor and customize right from the app. Connections were faster than before and covered a wider area in my home. I can’t wait to try out WiFi6. I had high hopes for RAX200 With two extenders to replace my Google Wi-Fi mesh. RAX200 is terrible. It constantly loses connection with my Cox 1GB Internet. The Wi-Fi connection also drops often, even when standing right next to router! I put Google Wi-Fi mesh back in place and everything works again. Will be returning all Netgear equipment and never buy from Netgear again!

The range on the AX12 is superb. Huge props to the engineering update for the antennas, which are more like flaps on the batmobile and thus far more rigid and durable. We’ve now got internet in quadrants of dead-spots we never had it before thanks to this unit. Kudos

Pricey but you get what you pay for. Can handle multiple devices streaming videos and gaming all at once. My household definitely has over 12 devices connected at once and after getting the AX12 router it made a significant difference in speed and ranger. Very good router.

Our pool controls only work through a WiFi app. The pool device was at the back of our yard with a weak signal, so we couldn’t count on it. With the new Nighthawk RAX120, we gained two bands of WiFi signal and our pool has stayed connected. The signal strength inside our house went to full strength.

Easy to drop in as a replacement for an existing similar but older competitor WiFi router…says ALOT. I do appreciate the Nighthawk smart app more and more each day, bonus is the speedtest module. Fact: Oldest son now tells me the WIFI is XBOX worthy at 45 linear ft away from router and he doesn’t need a drop line anymore? I picked this WIFI router mainly for reviews regarding larger houses…I live in a 6500sq/ft single ranch style house with the router exactly in the middle and at worst I get 3 bars outside the house within 15 ft of the exterior…excellent for guests and plenty of range to the man cave garage and our outdoor entertainment area. I connect our streaming devices and XBOX to the 5G and all else to the 2G…works for our household, we have yet to experience a lag, spike or issue one might attribute to WiFi. Online registration and support documentation is user friendly and informative. We have 21 devices connected with 2 being hardwired.
