Boost the speed and efficiency of your home Wi-Fi network with the Nighthawk AX12 12-Stream Wi-Fi 6 Router from Netgear. Equipped with eight internal antennas and capable of up to 6 Gb/s of total Wi-Fi throughout, this dual-band router supports the Wi-Fi 6 (802.11ax) wireless standard. Among the benefits of Wi-Fi 6 are multi-user MIMO support, which allows for multiple simultaneous data streams; OFDMA (orthogonal frequency division multiple access) support, which helps to enhance efficiency and reduce latency; and target wake time (TWT), which helps to optimize the battery life of connected mobile devices.
The Nighthawk AX12 comes equipped with four Gigabit Ethernet LAN ports, a Gigabit Ethernet LAN port, and a 5 Gb/s Ethernet port that allows for multi-gigabit wired connections. Two USB 3.0/3.1 Gen 1 Type-A ports let you share printers and storage devices, while WPA3 encryption helps to enhance security.

I needed a strong router that could handle this kind of scenario, and the Nighthawk AX12 was the answer. I have found the support system with Netgear is some of the best so I would recommend this router without hesitation.

My old router was starting to get way too overburdened with connections. I have 3 kids all streaming youtube (or something simular) on cell phones, roku streaming our tv service, wife surfing social media, and me playing games. This was way too much for our older router but the AX12 handles it like a champ. No lag, super fast speeds, and easy setup. Easy recommendation for anyone who has a device heavy house.

It’s crazy how many different wifi devices our home had added over the past couple of years. When Working from home, wifi dependency is a must. We had lightning hit and cooked on unit, then the older unit we shelved for a back, just didn’t meet the demands. This AX11000 is amazing. Easy to set up, blistering speeds and solid application functionality make this our choice. NETGEAR had proven to be reliable out of the box and it’s a good thing as their support sucks. That being said this unit is built to meet today’s demands and the future with WiFi 6 compatibility. It cost more than most but so far out performs all competition.

I upgraded to the Gigablast internet and so I needed to upgrade my modem (Netgear CM700) and my router (Nighthawk X4s) I trust Netgear products because I have NEVER had an issue with modems or routers from Netgear. The New Modem (CM2000) works perfectly with the Nighthawk AX12/12. Super fast internet and streaming. I am happy with our upgrade.

The 5ghz 80Hz x2 dual beam is absolutely a must for Wi-Fi 5/AC to 6AX users. 3500sqft house coverage no problem. First time one SSID (2.4Ghz, 5.0, 5.0×2) ever works well. Seamless transfer of 2.4 to 5ghz depending on device range from router.

This thing is super fast, a luttle tricky on setup, but lighning fast with a better and stronger range than most. We run a high volume of devices simultaneously with no lag or issues at all. Currently paired with 3.1 doc nighthawk modem and gigabit internet this setup is insanely fast
