Boost the speed and efficiency of your home Wi-Fi network with the Nighthawk AX12 12-Stream Wi-Fi 6 Router from Netgear. Equipped with eight internal antennas and capable of up to 6 Gb/s of total Wi-Fi throughout, this dual-band router supports the Wi-Fi 6 (802.11ax) wireless standard. Among the benefits of Wi-Fi 6 are multi-user MIMO support, which allows for multiple simultaneous data streams; OFDMA (orthogonal frequency division multiple access) support, which helps to enhance efficiency and reduce latency; and target wake time (TWT), which helps to optimize the battery life of connected mobile devices.
The Nighthawk AX12 comes equipped with four Gigabit Ethernet LAN ports, a Gigabit Ethernet LAN port, and a 5 Gb/s Ethernet port that allows for multi-gigabit wired connections. Two USB 3.0/3.1 Gen 1 Type-A ports let you share printers and storage devices, while WPA3 encryption helps to enhance security.

The Nighthawk is much fast than my old router. Love the Nighthawk app. You can always see what or who is logged on. Temporarily pause them or block them altogether. I have noticed I have issues connecting to some secure websites. Not a big issue. Just change to cellular for those. So far have only had a problem with 2 banking websites.

I was using a Netgear R8000 and was experiencing issues of random multiple daily reboots with upgraded firmwares. Resorted to older firmwares which cut it down to once a day. Changed to the RAX120 and it has been great. Speed and reach are better and it has been up for a week without so much as a hiccup!!
