Boost the speed and efficiency of your home Wi-Fi network with the Nighthawk AX12 12-Stream Wi-Fi 6 Router from Netgear. Equipped with eight internal antennas and capable of up to 6 Gb/s of total Wi-Fi throughout, this dual-band router supports the Wi-Fi 6 (802.11ax) wireless standard. Among the benefits of Wi-Fi 6 are multi-user MIMO support, which allows for multiple simultaneous data streams; OFDMA (orthogonal frequency division multiple access) support, which helps to enhance efficiency and reduce latency; and target wake time (TWT), which helps to optimize the battery life of connected mobile devices.
The Nighthawk AX12 comes equipped with four Gigabit Ethernet LAN ports, a Gigabit Ethernet LAN port, and a 5 Gb/s Ethernet port that allows for multi-gigabit wired connections. Two USB 3.0/3.1 Gen 1 Type-A ports let you share printers and storage devices, while WPA3 encryption helps to enhance security.

I purchased this Nighthawk AX12 to replace the router in a EOL DSL modem/router that is supplied by my ISP. I had no trouble at all turning off the old router and just using the DSL modem section. All three of my computers and a WiFi home thermostat connected to the AX12 without a problem. Only my six year old printer had a little problem due to my having this new router set to a higher security level which the printer couldn’t access. Switching from WPA3 to WPA2 and a hard reset on the printer got everything sorted out. A perceived increase in speed occurs, probably due to the increased efficiency of this router. I am extremely happy with this purchase and highly recommend this router as money well spent.

The NETGEAR Nighthawk AX12/12-Stream AX6000 Wi-Fi Router,Wi-Fi 6 (RAX120) ……I just unboxed the Router …opened the small instructional pamphlet on the installment ..wow it was super easy to install…I was on the slow end it took myself 5 min to get all my equipment back online once installed .. It’s worth the extra money if you have multiple Gaming consoles , 4K TVs, Tablets , Phones, Computers or Lots of guest .

I replaced the router provided by my provider with the Nighthawk as its range was not very good. I had 3 repeater installed to extend the range of my old router and permanently faced difficulties with it. So, I decided to invest into one device to cover our entire apartment (150sqm). Excellent result, easy to install, app works very well, full control on all connected devices. Strong recommendation.
