Boost the speed and efficiency of your home Wi-Fi network with the Nighthawk AX12 12-Stream Wi-Fi 6 Router from Netgear. Equipped with eight internal antennas and capable of up to 6 Gb/s of total Wi-Fi throughout, this dual-band router supports the Wi-Fi 6 (802.11ax) wireless standard. Among the benefits of Wi-Fi 6 are multi-user MIMO support, which allows for multiple simultaneous data streams; OFDMA (orthogonal frequency division multiple access) support, which helps to enhance efficiency and reduce latency; and target wake time (TWT), which helps to optimize the battery life of connected mobile devices.
The Nighthawk AX12 comes equipped with four Gigabit Ethernet LAN ports, a Gigabit Ethernet LAN port, and a 5 Gb/s Ethernet port that allows for multi-gigabit wired connections. Two USB 3.0/3.1 Gen 1 Type-A ports let you share printers and storage devices, while WPA3 encryption helps to enhance security.

Very fast router and handles multiple devices well. Pulling almost 1gb speeds now. Only drawback is Netgear nighthawk app features. Very limited controls. Can only pause internet on devices, wish I could have better parental controls to control devices based on times

This thing is super fast, a little tricky on setup, but lighning fast with a better and stronger range than most. We run a high volume of devices simultaneously with no lag or issues at all. Currently paired with 3.1 doc nighthawk modem and gigabit internet this setup is insanely fast

In terms of home networking….this is the best thing since sliced bread in my opinion. Prior to purchasing this router, I had nothing but issues trying to keep all 68 of my smart home devices up at the same time. As soon as hooked up this beast and changed the wifi credentials to match my previous router, all 68 devices connected within 5min and nothing has dropped since. Highly recommend to anyone building a smart home network.

Router was easy to install, set up and start using. Immediate difference in speed and range compared to standard issue cable router. Greater difference noted on AX capable devices. Where high quality video would sometimes buffer when several devices where attempting to stream simultaneously, it now streams seamlessly without any issue and videos start up sooner. Best upgrade I’ve made in recent times. 10/10 would recommend.

I have combined wired and wireless home network with a few ethernet switches. Put in new MESH system for coverage but had lag time in streaming and gaming. Was only getting 1/2 of the speed going into router. Switched to Nighthawk AX12/12 and it fixed lag time and doubled my speed. Also have great signal coverage for WiFi in 3 story house with router in basement. Worth the money.

I did a bunch of homework and settled on upgrading my Orbi AC3000 setup for the RAX120. Mostly my decision was made because I needed a 5 Gigabit Ethernet port for my iMac Pro and I wanted to have bleeding edge WiFi 6 for the upcoming years. So far I’ve been really impressed with the performance of the router. I was however very disappointed with their AX8 series Mesh WiFi Extender. This unit wants to fly alone. If you need a Mesh setup, stick with the Orbi line.

I use to have the standard issued router but I would lag all the time. I am an avid gamer who streams and runs multiple programs at once. My ping was very high and I would lag a lot. My FPS would drop drastically whenever I encounted a player in the game. However, ever since I bought the NETGEAR Nighthawk AX12/12-Stream AX11000 WiFi Router, Wi-Fi 6 (RAX200). My ping is near zero and I have never had any FPS drops. Netgear is the best router you can buy to play online games without lagging or having high ping so you actually get better frames per second in the game. Netgear has multiple antennas which boosts the Wi-Fi signal so that there is no lag in online games.
