Boost the speed and efficiency of your home Wi-Fi network with the Nighthawk AX12 12-Stream Wi-Fi 6 Router from Netgear. Equipped with eight internal antennas and capable of up to 6 Gb/s of total Wi-Fi throughout, this dual-band router supports the Wi-Fi 6 (802.11ax) wireless standard. Among the benefits of Wi-Fi 6 are multi-user MIMO support, which allows for multiple simultaneous data streams; OFDMA (orthogonal frequency division multiple access) support, which helps to enhance efficiency and reduce latency; and target wake time (TWT), which helps to optimize the battery life of connected mobile devices.
The Nighthawk AX12 comes equipped with four Gigabit Ethernet LAN ports, a Gigabit Ethernet LAN port, and a 5 Gb/s Ethernet port that allows for multi-gigabit wired connections. Two USB 3.0/3.1 Gen 1 Type-A ports let you share printers and storage devices, while WPA3 encryption helps to enhance security.

I was really excited when I bought it. I thought it would give up the signal strength we needed for our household size/property. But after a few weeks of having it, I am a bit disappointed. Inside the house is great but outside it’s the same as the router I replaced. Very disappointed I spent all the extra money did not reason at all.

This is an amazing router, with the two 5 GHz bands and one 2.4, there is more than enough bandwidth being pushed for everything and more than enough range to cover a 4000 sq ft with two floors. Buffering with streaming at the far end of the house through multiple walls, the main reason I wanted to upgrade from the former top of the line router that was being used, is a thing of the past. This is quite simply everything Netgear says it it.

iPhone 11 Max AX12 940 Mbps data plan = 768 Mbps download speeds. 768Mbps while next to router, 722Mbps while one room away, 690Mbps, while two rooms away, 673Mbps while outside of my apartment made of steel reinforced concrete. Option to add photo does not show probably because site is not secure.
