Boost the speed and efficiency of your home Wi-Fi network with the Nighthawk AX12 12-Stream Wi-Fi 6 Router from Netgear. Equipped with eight internal antennas and capable of up to 6 Gb/s of total Wi-Fi throughout, this dual-band router supports the Wi-Fi 6 (802.11ax) wireless standard. Among the benefits of Wi-Fi 6 are multi-user MIMO support, which allows for multiple simultaneous data streams; OFDMA (orthogonal frequency division multiple access) support, which helps to enhance efficiency and reduce latency; and target wake time (TWT), which helps to optimize the battery life of connected mobile devices.
The Nighthawk AX12 comes equipped with four Gigabit Ethernet LAN ports, a Gigabit Ethernet LAN port, and a 5 Gb/s Ethernet port that allows for multi-gigabit wired connections. Two USB 3.0/3.1 Gen 1 Type-A ports let you share printers and storage devices, while WPA3 encryption helps to enhance security.

I’ve had other WiFi modems and they just don’t perform like the Nighthawk. Their app is a lot easier to use then other companies and set up is super easy. Best purchases I’ve made to fix my range and WiFi speeds. I have a 2,500 sqft house and the WiFi is strong through the house.

For a residential router, this is the best of the best. From the quick & easy setup to being able to create VLAN’s within your home network. This is a bit expensive but cheaper than a commercial router. I’d recommend this router to anyone wanting to control their home network completely.

Upgraded my cable provided modem/router combo with a CM1200 modem and the Nighthawk RAX120 router. Let me tell you this router and combination is a huge upgrade. So huge we will be upgrading our internet speeds with our service provider. Other than the speeds, the technology, and the sleek appearance, the Nighthawk app is awesome! Better than anything else on the market. Will be purchasing the Nighthawk Mesh unit as well to have WiFi in the few dead areas I have and out by the pool. All in all I am very happy with my purchases and the Nighthawk systems.

It is quite pricey, however it makes up for the price in signal coverage and speed. I was using the Xfinity modem which has built in WiFi. The signal was weak throughout the house except close by the router. I changed to my own setup using the nighthawk modem and nighthawk router and now I have full strength on our WiFi items all over the house. I live in a 2 story decent size how with 5 kids who all game and stream along with myself at the same time without any problem anymore as we felt with lag and longer connecting times before. No disappointment in the money spent. Good investment

Good coverage for large house when in the middle of the house. At one end of house on main floor, it was difficult to connect to 5G signal. I tried Smart Connect but my device only connected to slow connection, never 5G…not so Smart Connect. Turned it off and now pleased with performance of this device.

Running this device with my CM1200 Modem I gotta say I love what they did with this device it has a built in Fan and heatsink for Processor. Runs through the Routers settings with ease the app is very easy to understand and Ive been through 8 routers and this one by far is the best!
