Boost the speed and efficiency of your home Wi-Fi network with the Nighthawk AX12 12-Stream Wi-Fi 6 Router from Netgear. Equipped with eight internal antennas and capable of up to 6 Gb/s of total Wi-Fi throughout, this dual-band router supports the Wi-Fi 6 (802.11ax) wireless standard. Among the benefits of Wi-Fi 6 are multi-user MIMO support, which allows for multiple simultaneous data streams; OFDMA (orthogonal frequency division multiple access) support, which helps to enhance efficiency and reduce latency; and target wake time (TWT), which helps to optimize the battery life of connected mobile devices.
The Nighthawk AX12 comes equipped with four Gigabit Ethernet LAN ports, a Gigabit Ethernet LAN port, and a 5 Gb/s Ethernet port that allows for multi-gigabit wired connections. Two USB 3.0/3.1 Gen 1 Type-A ports let you share printers and storage devices, while WPA3 encryption helps to enhance security.

The router was fairly easy to install and get started up. At 1 G bps, it handles 10 WiFi connected TVs, several commuters with gaming, and many WiFi connected phones. Prior to the new router, I heard complaints from the kids all the time about the WiFi connection. Now, all I hear is silence from our 6 kids, the best sound in the world.

I bought the NETGEAR Nighthawk AX6000/AX12 (RAX120) wifi 6 router two weeks ago. My signal and streaming is way better. Including on 4K. Transferring files is also easier. Wifi bandwidth an and range has improved too. It is very noticeable. I got no service in my backyard. Now I get up to 3 bars thanks to the router’s 3500 sq ft of coverage. It was well worth it. Glad I bought the Nighthawk.
