Boost the speed and efficiency of your home Wi-Fi network with the Nighthawk AX12 12-Stream Wi-Fi 6 Router from Netgear. Equipped with eight internal antennas and capable of up to 6 Gb/s of total Wi-Fi throughout, this dual-band router supports the Wi-Fi 6 (802.11ax) wireless standard. Among the benefits of Wi-Fi 6 are multi-user MIMO support, which allows for multiple simultaneous data streams; OFDMA (orthogonal frequency division multiple access) support, which helps to enhance efficiency and reduce latency; and target wake time (TWT), which helps to optimize the battery life of connected mobile devices.
The Nighthawk AX12 comes equipped with four Gigabit Ethernet LAN ports, a Gigabit Ethernet LAN port, and a 5 Gb/s Ethernet port that allows for multi-gigabit wired connections. Two USB 3.0/3.1 Gen 1 Type-A ports let you share printers and storage devices, while WPA3 encryption helps to enhance security.

Recently purchased a Nighthawk AX12 at the recommendation of our ISP. We had been experiencing spotty wireless coverage outside our house on the porch. As we rely on wireless to make phone calls, this was annoying to say the least with numerous dropped calls, poor call quality, inability to text, etc. The Nighthawk was an easy switch taking less than 10 minutes to set up and configure. Very happy with this solution. And we are enjoying much better wireless coverage and signal strength now.

In the 6 days I’ve had this router I’ve lost WiFi and had to reboot it three times, and had it completely reset on me, including erasing my static IP address, once. The speeds on my gigabit connection are great when it’s working, but I’m considering returning it for something else because I can’t rely on it to work consistently.
