Boost the speed and efficiency of your home Wi-Fi network with the Nighthawk AX12 12-Stream Wi-Fi 6 Router from Netgear. Equipped with eight internal antennas and capable of up to 6 Gb/s of total Wi-Fi throughout, this dual-band router supports the Wi-Fi 6 (802.11ax) wireless standard. Among the benefits of Wi-Fi 6 are multi-user MIMO support, which allows for multiple simultaneous data streams; OFDMA (orthogonal frequency division multiple access) support, which helps to enhance efficiency and reduce latency; and target wake time (TWT), which helps to optimize the battery life of connected mobile devices.
The Nighthawk AX12 comes equipped with four Gigabit Ethernet LAN ports, a Gigabit Ethernet LAN port, and a 5 Gb/s Ethernet port that allows for multi-gigabit wired connections. Two USB 3.0/3.1 Gen 1 Type-A ports let you share printers and storage devices, while WPA3 encryption helps to enhance security.

Love the range and speed this router delivers. Price reflects a great product.

My previous router was supplied by my internet provider and didn’t have the range and consistent speed I needed to support the needs of my family (2 adults online with video conferencing and 2 kids remote learning). This router was everything that was advertised: the range was much better than my old router, the speed is consistently much faster, it can handle the 30 devises connected, and the set up was easy. I wish I had purchased this sooner.

This is a great router. But the firmware update took some trial and error. I posted a review earlier in error which should have been for the AT

The hardest thing about setting up this router is……nothing. Easy to follow instructions and it starts up flying. Paying for 400 Mbps and gett as high as 468 Mbps. Not bad for an old rookie.

Works perfectly, very strong signal and super fast speeds

I pay for a 500 mbps data plan and my first speed test was 480/23 with 18 ms ping.

I’ve been using An Arris Surfboard for 3 years and wow what a difference when I switched over to my NetGear AX6000 WiFi 6 router, it’s lights years ahead in terms of speed and reliability, also coupled with Armor, it’s interface and it’s manageability I see why it’s future proof! 2 Thumbs up and AAA

I bought this unit last week. Setup was simple and access to advanced features, which I always use, is easily accessible. I have a NAS and an upgraded modem – it works seemlessly. I have no worries about this for the future, so little so I know I can forget it and it will function without further attention.

This will be my 8th Netgear Router and my Second Nighthawk. My last Nighthawk was amazing, added a camera system and thought in my large home I could pick up more devices. By far the best of the best.

Only had it a short time but so far all our streaming issues have subsided.

Very easy, straightforward set up! Solved my internet connections from day one. The extra reach of the wifi is also amazing!

I got a cheap internet router that came with the service. I needed a router, was taken back by the price but was brought back by the envy of how fast this is. I had 4 devices on and not a single one was slow! Maybe other things in life can zoom zoom zoom.

it’s okay, has fast upload n download speeds but still makes me lag in games even though i have 14 devices connected n odfma n smart connect enabled with verizon gigabyte fios. Doesn’t help 2.4 speeds they are like 20 up and 20 down

We end up buying this router because I’m permanently working from home until further notice and my Linksys mesh system was not doing the trick, now, in the office I work I get 250 mbps out of the 400 I pay for, sounds low but it’s accross a very thick stone wall and in a corner of a 3300 sq ft house, highly recommended

Fast speeds, wired 5 gig port, and easy to set up! Large upgrade from previous router!

So this is a very very fast router. The set up was simple and I am getting faster speeds then I’m actually paying for with the cable company. The iOS app is awesome cause I get notifications when there are threats to the network and someone is joining. It does take up some space but I love having the speeds. Also I have some older devices that only run on 2.5 so it manages them as well as my AX newer devices. A must have guys! Cant recommend it enough!

I am a pretty tech savvy person, but not a professional. It took many hours over many days to finally get this to work on all of my devices. I was finally able to get it to work by disabling the AX feature, which was the whole reason I spent the money I did on this model. I realize I will be set for the future and as my devices are upgraded to support AX I can enable it, but I wish there was a way to use it on the devices that do support it in the meantime. It is still better than my old router, even with AX disabled so it is serving its purpose. Before buying realize you may have this issue if you use devices without AX (wifi6) drivers.
