With the Nighthawk AX6 AX5400, you’ll have the wireless bandwidth you need to stream 4K video, video chat, and play online games. The router also includes five Gigabit Ethernet ports, four of which connect to computers, gaming consoles, and other compatible devices. Connect an external storage drive to the available USB 3.0 Type-A port to back up and share data locally across your network. The Nighthawk AX6 AX5400 sets up quickly through the Nighthawk mobile app, and you can issue voice commands to the router through Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant. Your network is secured with both wireless encryption and the Netgear Armor multi-layered cybersecurity system, which protects devices against viruses, malware, and other online threats.

Bought this router to replace a very inexpensive (and slower) router supplied by my cable company. Needless to say, this router is fast and can take full advantage of the speed that we pay for. In addition, it handles lots of devices at one time at very fast speeds (you don’t know how slow you have now until you get something this fast!). Excellent router, and pretty easy set up. I was having connection issues with my service router. They couldnt figure out why. So i gave up and tried this. Ever since i havent had any issues. I like how theres the app to see whose on. You can pause people as well to get your kids off. This router was the best choice for sure.

Easy to install new router needed for added security for a home network. Cable service provides modem-router but question security of system and also ability of system to reach all areas in and outside the house (patio, garage, etc.). This system did improve connectivity in these areas above the modem-router device and it still allows guests to use the cable network and not have to inadvertently affect the home network.
