With the Nighthawk AX6 AX5400, you’ll have the wireless bandwidth you need to stream 4K video, video chat, and play online games. Its four high-performance antennas use Beamforming to help ensure strong connections and long range, making it ideal for medium to large homes. The router also includes five Gigabit Ethernet ports, four of which connect to computers, gaming consoles, and other compatible devices. Connect an external storage drive to the available USB 3.0 Type-A port to back up and share data locally across your network. The Nighthawk AX6 AX5400 sets up quickly through the Nighthawk mobile app, and you can issue voice commands to the router through Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant. Your network is secured with both wireless encryption and the Netgear Armor multi-layered cybersecurity system, which protects devices against viruses, malware, and other online threats.

This product seems to mostly work OK but isn’t quite as strong as I had hoped in getting to the other TV down the hallway. It’s only a 1500 square-foot house I didn’t think I would experience problems with buffering. But that is what’s happening.

This thing is no joke! With so many Alexa paired speakers, home cams, and phones/laptops it’s always a pain figuring out which bandwidth is better. I’m so glad I bought this because it takes care of all the tediousness of having to specifically pair each device to the band that I want. And I only had 2 bands, can’t imagine trying to remember what’s on each band in a tri-band router. This machine is so fast and reaches all corners of my house with ease, it’s a blessing!

I had bought RAX50 a year and a half ago because I thought my RAX80 was bad. At the time I could not find another RAX80 so I bought the RAX50. This router is great for a mid size house with average usage. I have inlaws always streaming videos and two young adult kids always gaming and an extra large amount of devices. Well my Rax80 finally died after receiving a large power surge through the house. The RAX50 isa great router just is at its limit at my house, therefore only 4 stars and I’ll have to go up another level soon. Otherwise my wife can’t work at home.
