The router also includes five Gigabit Ethernet ports, four of which connect to computers, gaming consoles, and other compatible devices. Connect an external storage drive to the available USB 3.0 Type-A port to back up and share data locally across your network. The Nighthawk AX6 AX5400 sets up quickly through the Nighthawk mobile app, and you can issue voice commands to the router through Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant. Your network is secured with both wireless encryption and the Netgear Armor multi-layered cybersecurity system, which protects devices against viruses, malware, and other online threats.

Received my router a couple weeks ago, it has been working flawlessly. Some others mentioned difficult setup but I used the Nighthawk app for android and the setup was a breeze. Also, I added a Nighthawk extender as well and all through the app with zero difficulties. I enjoy the great security notifications for any device that connects to my wifi. I also like that I was able to set up a guest network. Overall, this router gives me a lot of control over my system and I would highly recommend.

Most routers ive used in my past have either decreased my internet speed, was not collaborating with all my devices, or something that was causing inconvenience. This netgear router has been so simple and effective. I have not had one issue come up and im running apple home app with about 20 devices connected. Has handled them flawlessly. The only thing i have to complain about is that its not homekit compatible

I have many devices so it took a while to arrange them all on 2.4ghz or 5.0 ghz. My Apple pieces liked 5.0, the others needed to be on 2.4. My internet light turned red even though it still broadcast just fine. With a little troubleshooting and resetting it was ok. I’m no programmer, so just follow the instructions and you’ll be fine.
