The router also includes five Gigabit Ethernet ports, four of which connect to computers, gaming consoles, and other compatible devices. Connect an external storage drive to the available USB 3.0 Type-A port to back up and share data locally across your network. The Nighthawk AX6 AX5400 sets up quickly through the Nighthawk mobile app, and you can issue voice commands to the router through Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant. Your network is secured with both wireless encryption and the Netgear Armor multi-layered cybersecurity system, which protects devices against viruses, malware, and other online threats.

I received this router for testing, and was surprised at the capability. It has signal strength equal to my previous mesh system, and speeds that are better! The router has all the WIFI 6 features plus Netgear’s Armor security available and a great app that makes setup easy. You can download a very thorough user manual that will guide you through specialized setup. This is a very powerful router for a big home, a home office, or even a small business. I recommend it!

I bought this router for our 1 gig internet that my husband and I use to both work from home. By far the fastest internet I’ve ever used and love the extra armor/protection. I live in a 1800 ft 2 story condo and the router is on the 1st floor. My office is on the 2nd floor. The telehealth service home page I am a provider for tests speed at the shift start and reported slow speeds and occasionally my service disconnects. I would expect more for the price and features.
