Capable of throughput up to 6,000 Mb/s, the Nighthawk AX8 AX6000 Wi-Fi Router from Netgear supports Wi-Fi 6 (802.11ax), a wireless standard that allows for faster Wi-Fi speeds, more simultaneous upload and download streams, and greater energy efficiency for battery-powered wireless clients than previous Wi-Fi standards.
Equipped with four internal antennas, five 10/100/1000 Mb/s Ethernet LAN port, one 10/100/1000 Mb/s Ethernet WAN port, and a pair of USB 3.0/3.1 Gen 1 Type-A ports, the Wi-Fi 6-enabled Nighthawk AX8 AX6000 supports OFDMA (Orthogonal Frequency-Division Multiple Access) and multi-user MIMO (Multiple Input and Multiple Output) to deliver faster and more reliable Wi-Fi connections compared to Wi-Fi 5 (802.11ac). The router also boasts a Smart Connect feature that selects the best Wi-Fi band for your devices, allowing for a single network name for both wireless bands, as well as voice control via Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant.

this things is great though it was hard at first i didnt relize that at first it had the same name as my wifi i thought it was going to make its own but i sent a mesge to the suport team and they were glad to help me and showd my some suports to seprate them and now their seprated the reason i want it seprated was too get some device off from the orginal wifi and also reach where the wifi is poor though the app is not verry good it drops the net gear consatly but its alright i could always rest very time

After following the instructions precisely to set up the EAX80 Extender, it has worked very well for my purposes. I wanted a stronger WiFi signal for streaming in the basement where my new TV is at. The WiFi signal was adequate before; but now the signal is stronger with better response.

Xfinity compatible device was mostly easy to setup but had to retry a few times as netgear and Xfinity figured themselves out. It was more difficult to update WiFi on all the dependent devices. Would recommend as a way to avoid rental fees from Xfinity.
