Capable of throughput up to 6,000 Mb/s, the Nighthawk AX8 AX6000 Wi-Fi Router from Netgear supports Wi-Fi 6 (802.11ax), a wireless standard that allows for faster Wi-Fi speeds, more simultaneous upload and download streams, and greater energy efficiency for battery-powered wireless clients than previous Wi-Fi standards.
Equipped with four internal antennas, five 10/100/1000 Mb/s Ethernet LAN port, one 10/100/1000 Mb/s Ethernet WAN port, and a pair of USB 3.0/3.1 Gen 1 Type-A ports, the Wi-Fi 6-enabled Nighthawk AX8 AX6000 supports OFDMA (Orthogonal Frequency-Division Multiple Access) and multi-user MIMO (Multiple Input and Multiple Output) to deliver faster and more reliable Wi-Fi connections compared to Wi-Fi 5 (802.11ac). The router also boasts a Smart Connect feature that selects the best Wi-Fi band for your devices, allowing for a single network name for both wireless bands, as well as voice control via Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant.

If you don’t want/need to fully upgrade your router and want added range, then I highly recommend. I have full wifi coverage throughout my entire yard with this added to my existing router (rax120).

Really not worth money, connection is intermittent. Difficult to connect. When pulling wire out to reboot you have to go through the entire process of of reconnecting all your apps and network. Does not have a timer to reboot every couple days… overpriced piece of junk

I have a very large area that needs coverage. I purchased a Nighthawk router as the main router and then purchased 2 EAX80 extenders. They were very easy to setup and I was able to fully cover a 3 story 7,000 sq. ft. house. Having the SSID on the extender the same as the main SSID was a main feature for me. I would certainly buy this product again.

I got this to boost my wifi experience as my fiber optic router is downstairs, and my bedroom is upstairs. Set up was easy through the app, and I was able to place the extender immediately upstairs afterwards. I don’t experience wifi issues during gameplay as I have this extender hooked up via Ethernet to my PS5.
