Capable of throughput up to 6,000 Mb/s, the Nighthawk AX8 AX6000 Wi-Fi Router from Netgear supports Wi-Fi 6 (802.11ax), a wireless standard that allows for faster Wi-Fi speeds, more simultaneous upload and download streams, and greater energy efficiency for battery-powered wireless clients than previous Wi-Fi standards.
Equipped with four internal antennas, five 10/100/1000 Mb/s Ethernet LAN port, one 10/100/1000 Mb/s Ethernet WAN port, and a pair of USB 3.0/3.1 Gen 1 Type-A ports, the Wi-Fi 6-enabled Nighthawk AX8 AX6000 supports OFDMA (Orthogonal Frequency-Division Multiple Access) and multi-user MIMO (Multiple Input and Multiple Output) to deliver faster and more reliable Wi-Fi connections compared to Wi-Fi 5 (802.11ac). The router also boasts a Smart Connect feature that selects the best Wi-Fi band for your devices, allowing for a single network name for both wireless bands, as well as voice control via Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant.

easy to install and set up. has been fairly reliable as far as connectivity. have lost connection a few times and unable to see why through the app (because of the lost connection) but otherwise, fine. also, contrary to some reviews out there – you can wall mount it. there are two spots for where you would mount on screws – no problem.

Another great product from Netgear. This meshing range extender found my nighthawk and dual band network with no issue. The app is easy to use, just be patient. The setup takes a little time. It has increased our streaming speed and removed our at home business interruption. Great product.

Needs work out of the box. Dropping wifi and needed to change channels, turn off AX mode which defeated purpose of buying AX router. For the price I expected better!

Bought this for our Gigabit internet speeds, have worked amazingly.

Added two eax80 extenders to my RAX120 to increase speeds at the corners of the router coverage. While the router itself was fine I needed PS5 XBOX-X and PC coverage without wanting to run cat8 through walls. With the extenders ping and stability increased.

Only operates on one Television at a time . Spent 4 hours on the telephone with people who can not speak clear English. All they do is have me unplug the modem then plug it in . This went on for 4 hours over 4 phone calls .

Constant connectivity and buffering issues across multiple devices. Updated to the latest firmware and no improvement. Had tech check the Google Fiber all looks good with average speed of 800mb. My brother has the RAX120 and has the same issues. In today’s work from home environment connectivity is crucial. When it works it works well but I can’t depend on it. I ended up plugging in a old Linksys router and things are stable. I wasted $$$ on the shiny new object!

was a reasonable extender, my internet connection speed on the router is 479Mbps but on the extender it was 270-326Mbps which was better than the 90-120Mbps i was getting without the extender. Since i had a wire option at home i returned the extender and bought an additional router and set it up as an Access Point (AP), now i have full bandwidth through the house
