Capable of throughput up to 6,000 Mb/s, the Nighthawk AX8 AX6000 Wi-Fi Router from Netgear supports Wi-Fi 6 (802.11ax), a wireless standard that allows for faster Wi-Fi speeds, more simultaneous upload and download streams, and greater energy efficiency for battery-powered wireless clients than previous Wi-Fi standards.
Equipped with four internal antennas, five 10/100/1000 Mb/s Ethernet LAN port, one 10/100/1000 Mb/s Ethernet WAN port, and a pair of USB 3.0/3.1 Gen 1 Type-A ports, the Wi-Fi 6-enabled Nighthawk AX8 AX6000 supports OFDMA (Orthogonal Frequency-Division Multiple Access) and multi-user MIMO (Multiple Input and Multiple Output) to deliver faster and more reliable Wi-Fi connections compared to Wi-Fi 5 (802.11ac). The router also boasts a Smart Connect feature that selects the best Wi-Fi band for your devices, allowing for a single network name for both wireless bands, as well as voice control via Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant.

When i first got it i called netgear because to finish the set up. This a great combo, I’ve had it about a week, no issues or problems. I’m happy with my purchase. The modem and router is very expensive, but it you bought both products you will pay the same amount or maybe more. The netgear package said that it covers 2500 sq ft, but netgear technician said that it covers 5000 sq ft. I can attest to that because it covers all three floors in my home..

I was having to reset my WIFI every time I wanted to stream TV even though my internet provider said the WIFI router they provided was working correctly. Since I installed the NETGEAR Nighthawk CAX80 I haven’t had any dropped WIFI signal.
