Capable of throughput up to 6,000 Mb/s, the Nighthawk AX8 AX6000 Wi-Fi Router from Netgear supports Wi-Fi 6 (802.11ax), a wireless standard that allows for faster Wi-Fi speeds, more simultaneous upload and download streams, and greater energy efficiency for battery-powered wireless clients than previous Wi-Fi standards.
Equipped with four internal antennas, five 10/100/1000 Mb/s Ethernet LAN port, one 10/100/1000 Mb/s Ethernet WAN port, and a pair of USB 3.0/3.1 Gen 1 Type-A ports, the Wi-Fi 6-enabled Nighthawk AX8 AX6000 supports OFDMA (Orthogonal Frequency-Division Multiple Access) and multi-user MIMO (Multiple Input and Multiple Output) to deliver faster and more reliable Wi-Fi connections compared to Wi-Fi 5 (802.11ac). The router also boasts a Smart Connect feature that selects the best Wi-Fi band for your devices, allowing for a single network name for both wireless bands, as well as voice control via Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant.

And as a bonus, I can tell within minutes what devices are using the wifi. Have not tried the security software yet but considering it.

It’s expensive. Let’s all just admit that. For this price I was expecting to see speeds that put all else I’ve ever experienced in my life to shame…. And it’s good…. There’s just not many options or features that you get to play around with/customize for something that costs this much. Hardly any features, to be honest. My biggest complaint is the Nighthawk App. Mine is always telling me I’m under attack and that it cannot find my router to connect to and has me reinstall everything!
