Capable of throughput up to 6,000 Mb/s, the Nighthawk AX8 AX6000 Wi-Fi Router from Netgear supports Wi-Fi 6 (802.11ax), a wireless standard that allows for faster Wi-Fi speeds, more simultaneous upload and download streams, and greater energy efficiency for battery-powered wireless clients than previous Wi-Fi standards.
Equipped with four internal antennas, five 10/100/1000 Mb/s Ethernet LAN port, one 10/100/1000 Mb/s Ethernet WAN port, and a pair of USB 3.0/3.1 Gen 1 Type-A ports, the Wi-Fi 6-enabled Nighthawk AX8 AX6000 supports OFDMA (Orthogonal Frequency-Division Multiple Access) and multi-user MIMO (Multiple Input and Multiple Output) to deliver faster and more reliable Wi-Fi connections compared to Wi-Fi 5 (802.11ac). The router also boasts a Smart Connect feature that selects the best Wi-Fi band for your devices, allowing for a single network name for both wireless bands, as well as voice control via Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant.

Needed to extend coverage for my Nighthawk AX6 router. After a false start with another brand extender I purchased the EAX80. The coverage and performance are outstanding and I would highly recommend this extender to anyone experiencing WiFi coverage issues. I only wish I would have first started with the EAX80 and saved some frustration and $$.

Tried repeated configuration to run a second (non-Netgear) router with wired connection to Nighthawk router. None worked. Ordered the EAX 80. Worked first try with minimal setup and extends access to over a half acre of lawns and drive.

At first i was very skeptical on spending all this money on this router, but it was very easy to installed and activate through my xfinity app and the nighthawk app. It does take a little bit of time but it is worth it. Dual band works awesome and the range is way better than my Arris SBG6900-AC. Highly recomend this router.
