Capable of throughput up to 6,000 Mb/s, the Nighthawk AX8 AX6000 Wi-Fi Router from Netgear supports Wi-Fi 6 (802.11ax), a wireless standard that allows for faster Wi-Fi speeds, more simultaneous upload and download streams, and greater energy efficiency for battery-powered wireless clients than previous Wi-Fi standards.
Equipped with four internal antennas, five 10/100/1000 Mb/s Ethernet LAN port, one 10/100/1000 Mb/s Ethernet WAN port, and a pair of USB 3.0/3.1 Gen 1 Type-A ports, the Wi-Fi 6-enabled Nighthawk AX8 AX6000 supports OFDMA (Orthogonal Frequency-Division Multiple Access) and multi-user MIMO (Multiple Input and Multiple Output) to deliver faster and more reliable Wi-Fi connections compared to Wi-Fi 5 (802.11ac). The router also boasts a Smart Connect feature that selects the best Wi-Fi band for your devices, allowing for a single network name for both wireless bands, as well as voice control via Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant.

Worth the investment for sure! Covers a great area of my house and never have problems getting signal anywhere. I also enjoy using the app to be able to control everything. Favorite feature is being able to kick people off the internet at home.

Easy enough to setup with my ISP. Once they had the MAC address, it came right up! Wifi setup was just as smooth and do was extablishing a Guest network. The Nighthawk app e wasn’t quite as smooth because the instructions are a bit lacking but the router login.net finished it off smoothly.

I have a netgear nighthawk C7800 router/modem and no problems with it but the Extender was so hard to set up with the app that it did not recognize my router/modem and after an hour on the phone with support it still does not work. Maybe I got a bad one?

It has been a few years since I have been in the market for a new router. However, I stumbled upon this one and decided to give it a go and WOW was I amazed. There are so many different options you can change and there is also an app on IOS for the router. I have a signal all the way out to my mailbox and my house is 1800 sq ft. Great job Netgear!

This is the best wireless router I’ve owned. It performs well in a large 3 story home. I have close to 20 devices connected and we haven’t had a single connection issue. The setup is the easiest I’ve seen among WiFi routers. The app makes it easy for you to monitor or make changes.

Already having problems, says it’s constantly busy when no one’s online, disconnect computer and modem same busy lamp on router. I new I should have got that warranty they kept nagging me to get it (did they know something).

We have a 2500 square-foot home and I was very apprehensive that a single router could do the job. We upgraded from an old Nighthawk that was barely getting the job done. This router has given us better coverage and better speed. No dropped connections. Very stable and super easy to set up. I have been using nighthawks for years and would definitely recommend this router especially to anyone who has a home up to 2500 ft.

So we went from the WiFi 6 Xfinity modem, which we had to reset at least 2 times a week. We have not had to reset, or do any special settings for this modem to work. We also get about 50mbps more with this modem. I have been getting about 940mbps constantly since we put this modem in. With the Xfinity modem we would get 400mbps one day, and get 800mbps the next day. Get this modem, you will not regret your purchase!!!
