Capable of throughput up to 6,000 Mb/s, the Nighthawk AX8 AX6000 Wi-Fi Router from Netgear supports Wi-Fi 6 (802.11ax), a wireless standard that allows for faster Wi-Fi speeds, more simultaneous upload and download streams, and greater energy efficiency for battery-powered wireless clients than previous Wi-Fi standards.
Equipped with four internal antennas, five 10/100/1000 Mb/s Ethernet LAN port, one 10/100/1000 Mb/s Ethernet WAN port, and a pair of USB 3.0/3.1 Gen 1 Type-A ports, the Wi-Fi 6-enabled Nighthawk AX8 AX6000 supports OFDMA (Orthogonal Frequency-Division Multiple Access) and multi-user MIMO (Multiple Input and Multiple Output) to deliver faster and more reliable Wi-Fi connections compared to Wi-Fi 5 (802.11ac). The router also boasts a Smart Connect feature that selects the best Wi-Fi band for your devices, allowing for a single network name for both wireless bands, as well as voice control via Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant.

Everything works great but the wifi speeds only give 500mbps. I have 1200 mbps internet plan, but i dont use my wifi that much so its fine i guess. Xfinity router gave ~1300mbps for wifi for comparison

This Modem/WiFi is up to date and delivering nothing but excellent quality Ethernet and WiFi speeds. I enjoy being able to see which devices are connected to my network and how much data traffic is being used on a particular using the Netgear app! Easy to setup!

I’ve 1.2 gig internet. Nighthawk delivered only 180 mbps on WiFi. I called Xfinity tech. He connected Xfinity modem and speed jumped to 780 mbps while on WiFi

We have our main modem/router combo on one side of the house, so we had terrible dead spots on the opposite side. This solved the issue! The only problem was getting it to work on the iOS Nighthawk app, but it isn’t necessary after you manage to get it set up.

I struggled for two years with a low grade router and internet plan, not thinking much about upgrading it since I couldn’t really come up with a good reason why. My old router ended up breaking so I decided to purchase my own when I came across the Nighthawk. Needless to say, I am so happy with this purchase. It is worth the money! I bought the nighthawk extender to expand the wifi in my house since the router is upstairs and it has far exceeded what I expected. The whole house is running smoothly and download and upload speeds are crazy fast! If you can pick one up I highly suggest you do it has made me realize what my wife is SUPPOSED to be!

Super easy to set up using the Nighthawk app. Fantastic range! Just needed a boost to my WiFi to get a better signal while out in the balcony of my apartment building but now I get a signal all the way from the parking lot! Very very pleased.

Generally seems to work well with good speeds. Readyshare storage is working flawlessly with both Windows and iOS. I have had to reboot it twice in the first week when it became sluggish and suspect firmware may still need some tweaks yet.
