Capable of throughput up to 6,000 Mb/s, the Nighthawk AX8 AX6000 Wi-Fi Router from Netgear supports Wi-Fi 6 (802.11ax), a wireless standard that allows for faster Wi-Fi speeds, more simultaneous upload and download streams, and greater energy efficiency for battery-powered wireless clients than previous Wi-Fi standards.
Equipped with four internal antennas, five 10/100/1000 Mb/s Ethernet LAN port, one 10/100/1000 Mb/s Ethernet WAN port, and a pair of USB 3.0/3.1 Gen 1 Type-A ports, the Wi-Fi 6-enabled Nighthawk AX8 AX6000 supports OFDMA (Orthogonal Frequency-Division Multiple Access) and multi-user MIMO (Multiple Input and Multiple Output) to deliver faster and more reliable Wi-Fi connections compared to Wi-Fi 5 (802.11ac). The router also boasts a Smart Connect feature that selects the best Wi-Fi band for your devices, allowing for a single network name for both wireless bands, as well as voice control via Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant.

I just purchased this model and have had nothing but problems with it staying connected to the internet. Spectrum says it is not “them”. This is a piece of junk. Now I have to go through the trouble of returning it, and replacing it with a different brand.

Horrible extender. It took two days to completely setup and when finished, it didn’t perform as advertised. I wouldn’t recommend this device to anyone.

What happened to a human assisting with a issue And then as soon as you dont help you send out a survey. It seems surveys are more important than assisting a customer who paid for the product and needs HELP

That so stupid ! The router has no function to schedule connection time for all connected devices. It works only for router itself ! And for schedule them I must install the terrible Circle app with a premium features for $50 for year…Netgear, cmon, really ??? I bought this device for incredibly high price and should pay again ? I’m disappointed !

Yes – I was nervous about how hard this would be to install. It was easy and the instructions were easy to follow. The modem itself works great and I like the simplicity of the app and how much faster my home internet is. I had been renting the Xfinity modem and had 3 wifi extenders.
