Capable of throughput up to 6,000 Mb/s, the Nighthawk AX8 AX6000 Wi-Fi Router from Netgear supports Wi-Fi 6 (802.11ax), a wireless standard that allows for faster Wi-Fi speeds, more simultaneous upload and download streams, and greater energy efficiency for battery-powered wireless clients than previous Wi-Fi standards.
Equipped with four internal antennas, five 10/100/1000 Mb/s Ethernet LAN port, one 10/100/1000 Mb/s Ethernet WAN port, and a pair of USB 3.0/3.1 Gen 1 Type-A ports, the Wi-Fi 6-enabled Nighthawk AX8 AX6000 supports OFDMA (Orthogonal Frequency-Division Multiple Access) and multi-user MIMO (Multiple Input and Multiple Output) to deliver faster and more reliable Wi-Fi connections compared to Wi-Fi 5 (802.11ac). The router also boasts a Smart Connect feature that selects the best Wi-Fi band for your devices, allowing for a single network name for both wireless bands, as well as voice control via Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant.

Talk about a fast internet connection. You pay for what you get. Sometimes you have to splurge on yourself to get the better equipment. Satisfied with my decision.

Not the cheapest modem/router, but it’s probably the most advanced one I’ve ever bought and I’m hitting at least 500Mbps over Wi-Fi (my wired plan is 1200Mbps) and I get pretty close to that with ethernet! Didn’t realize Xfinity throttles based on modems even if they can handle the bandwidth. SMH. Those money hungry gate keepers!

I started setting the modem up and it stopped responding after I got it connected to Comcast. Tech support had me try to reset it but no matter what we did I could no longer get into the settings.

Works perfectly although the speeds are only half of advertised as far as download speed goes. Upload speed is insane and pretty much maxed out.

The unit was easy to set up. The app and ISP made it real easy to set up. It is supporting many devices with no glitches. I am very pleased with my purchase and the functionality.

I felt that I would probably need 2 WiFi extenders in order to get the coverage that I was looking for, but one was more than adequate. The set up was relatively easy… at this point I couldn’t possibly be happier with the product.

I upgraded from my older netgear model to take advantage of the wifi 6 on my new laptop. The internet is much faster and I do love the option of having this modem/router combo for those who need to save space.

I have been researching for a docsis 3.1 with wifi 6 cable modems for last few months before my move to US and well this product has been the best decision I made. Works with my cable internet of RCN like a charm. Was quick to set up, easy to monitor and speeds are blazing on my 1GBPS connection. I want to expand the appreciation on the range of WIFI, I live in a 951sq ft apartment and I get all 3 bars across every corner of my apartment.

Had verizon router because I needed to. With opening of network this new router not only works better but will save $ in the long run because I am not renting.

Coming from the Nighthawk X6, this is a huge upgrade that is well worth it. Along with the Netgear Modem. The speed I get now are amazing. 10/10 would recommend that everyone with multiple Wi-Fi devices gets this router!

My WiFi 6 Router Combo has performed very well. I’m able to stream to 2 TVs, a computer and multiple smart devices located throughout my single level home, garage and 2 outdoor patios.

This device has the advertised coverage, even reaching out to our guest house. I had hoped, though, that I could just replace my old AC Nighthawk product with this one by just naming the SSID the same, but that’s not the case. Also, I had to connect each home automation device individually, which was a pain. The app is fairly limited; I would prefer to have the advanced functionality there, too.

Very nice router with great coverage. It was not the easiest to setup due to issues with the app, so it took longer than expected, but once it was up and running all was good.

My Generac generator outside my house use to half 12% WiFi until I added the Netgear Nighthawk EAX80 extender and now I have 72%. Wonderful.

Initially had some issues getting it set up but once I tweaked it and got my network situated the way I wanted it I’ve had no issues, amazing coverage and consistently high speeds in line with my gigabit connection. If you run fiber, I highly recommend the router!
