Capable of throughput up to 6,000 Mb/s, the Nighthawk AX8 AX6000 Wi-Fi Router from Netgear supports Wi-Fi 6 (802.11ax), a wireless standard that allows for faster Wi-Fi speeds, more simultaneous upload and download streams, and greater energy efficiency for battery-powered wireless clients than previous Wi-Fi standards.
Equipped with four internal antennas, five 10/100/1000 Mb/s Ethernet LAN port, one 10/100/1000 Mb/s Ethernet WAN port, and a pair of USB 3.0/3.1 Gen 1 Type-A ports, the Wi-Fi 6-enabled Nighthawk AX8 AX6000 supports OFDMA (Orthogonal Frequency-Division Multiple Access) and multi-user MIMO (Multiple Input and Multiple Output) to deliver faster and more reliable Wi-Fi connections compared to Wi-Fi 5 (802.11ac). The router also boasts a Smart Connect feature that selects the best Wi-Fi band for your devices, allowing for a single network name for both wireless bands, as well as voice control via Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant.

You’re probably going through reviews to see if you should make this purchase and let me be the one to say that this is the right one to make! Whether you’re in the market because you want to avoid that annoying rental fee or you just want to have your own equipment it won’t really matter. This router modem combo does it best and it has all the extra ports you need. Definitely something you should buy

Excellent product , fairly easy to install but took longer than expected. Probably due to not automatically going to the start install page and other minor glitches although materials implied differently. Overall its an excellent product providing solid WiFi service and wider coverage

Netgear’s free trial of Armor was an add-on I wasn’t expecting to enjoy, and yet the intuitive UI lends itself to upgrading my own knowledge of cybersecurity; thanks Netgear!

I purchased this modem/router to replace my current Cox panoramic wifi modem. The Nighthawk not only increased my wifi range but boosted the amount of bandwidth by at least 75%. I have Cox gigs last but the wifi for the old panoramic was not only spotty but the download speeds were approximately 250mbps. The nighthawk now provides me with over 750mbps download over wifi alone! If you are looking for that gaming edge this is the combo modem for you!
