Capable of throughput up to 6,000 Mb/s, the Nighthawk AX8 AX6000 Wi-Fi Router from Netgear supports Wi-Fi 6 (802.11ax), a wireless standard that allows for faster Wi-Fi speeds, more simultaneous upload and download streams, and greater energy efficiency for battery-powered wireless clients than previous Wi-Fi standards.
Equipped with four internal antennas, five 10/100/1000 Mb/s Ethernet LAN port, one 10/100/1000 Mb/s Ethernet WAN port, and a pair of USB 3.0/3.1 Gen 1 Type-A ports, the Wi-Fi 6-enabled Nighthawk AX8 AX6000 supports OFDMA (Orthogonal Frequency-Division Multiple Access) and multi-user MIMO (Multiple Input and Multiple Output) to deliver faster and more reliable Wi-Fi connections compared to Wi-Fi 5 (802.11ac). The router also boasts a Smart Connect feature that selects the best Wi-Fi band for your devices, allowing for a single network name for both wireless bands, as well as voice control via Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant.

I never write reviews, but this is one of the worst products I have ever purchased. Like so many other people have mentioned, it randomly reboots multiple times a day. Based on other reviews and the Netgear community forum, this has been a known issue for a while without a fix. Support is of no help. For the price, the product should not have this issue.

Not getting my speeds.im with Comcast my contact is 400 megabytes per second .on my device I am only getting 10 to 20 megabytes

This has been the most difficult router that I’ve owned. It took over an hour the first night to get Comcast connected. About the same time the second night to get my router set up so I use the Internet. I’ve yet to get my WiFi printers hooked up or my Bluetooth washer and dryer. This has been more stressful than I ever thought it would. Not happy so far.

Only problem I had is it didn’t work with the Verizon router G3100 without disabling Self-Organizing Network (SON) after that setup was easy, it took me 5 hours to figure it out, as it wasn’t noted anywhere I could find.

This was difficult to set up. I had to call twice and each time I was told a different way to setup the system. The last perso I spoke to told me that the first perso had me setup the system incorrectly. Also the first install was no compatible with my net gear router and took my whole system down.

If you are still using the modem the internet companies send you, stop right now. This modem blows them out the water. I pay for the gigabit speed internet but was lucky if I got 200mbps. I bought this modem wifi router combo and now my speeds are insane. I think about a web page and it opens up. I get full wifi 6 in my entire house with no extender needed. Internet doesn’t lag, skip, hop or jump in any way. This modem was the best thing g ive ever bought. I can stream, download, game, YouTube, ticktok, insta, and tweet all at the same time with all my friends and neighbors using my internet and it doesn’t even blink at it. Seriously get this modem and you will not be dissatisfied. You can do whatever you want with this modem in your house.

Recently upgraded from the standard default Comcast router combo to this one and let me say it’s amazing. I’m actually getting the internet speed I paid. I can now watch cat videos lag free thanks to this router. Also is really amazing for gaming and streaming I’ve had 0 problems.

Have to constantly unplug and reset for continuous signal. For some reason it always stops. Net gear has a horribly short warranty of 6 months and good luck getting help after that.
