Capable of throughput up to 6,000 Mb/s, the Nighthawk AX8 AX6000 Wi-Fi Router from Netgear supports Wi-Fi 6 (802.11ax), a wireless standard that allows for faster Wi-Fi speeds, more simultaneous upload and download streams, and greater energy efficiency for battery-powered wireless clients than previous Wi-Fi standards.
Equipped with four internal antennas, five 10/100/1000 Mb/s Ethernet LAN port, one 10/100/1000 Mb/s Ethernet WAN port, and a pair of USB 3.0/3.1 Gen 1 Type-A ports, the Wi-Fi 6-enabled Nighthawk AX8 AX6000 supports OFDMA (Orthogonal Frequency-Division Multiple Access) and multi-user MIMO (Multiple Input and Multiple Output) to deliver faster and more reliable Wi-Fi connections compared to Wi-Fi 5 (802.11ac). The router also boasts a Smart Connect feature that selects the best Wi-Fi band for your devices, allowing for a single network name for both wireless bands, as well as voice control via Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant.

The EAX80 has been a great addition to my AX6000, I did not need the wireless coverage but the ability to “hardwire” into the extender in order to minimize wireless cluttering was a no brainer, not only it helps with cluttering but the speeds when harwire into the extender are very fast.

Received a notice that my Netgear router was out of date (older router). I started looking around and reading reviews. The Nighthawk CVX80 looked like the best for me. After installation download speed went from 24 to 200. Upload went from 4.2 to almost 10. Both blazing fast for my service area. Highly recommend.
