Capable of throughput up to 6,000 Mb/s, the Nighthawk AX8 AX6000 Wi-Fi Router from Netgear supports Wi-Fi 6 (802.11ax), a wireless standard that allows for faster Wi-Fi speeds, more simultaneous upload and download streams, and greater energy efficiency for battery-powered wireless clients than previous Wi-Fi standards.
Equipped with four internal antennas, five 10/100/1000 Mb/s Ethernet LAN port, one 10/100/1000 Mb/s Ethernet WAN port, and a pair of USB 3.0/3.1 Gen 1 Type-A ports, the Wi-Fi 6-enabled Nighthawk AX8 AX6000 supports OFDMA (Orthogonal Frequency-Division Multiple Access) and multi-user MIMO (Multiple Input and Multiple Output) to deliver faster and more reliable Wi-Fi connections compared to Wi-Fi 5 (802.11ac). The router also boasts a Smart Connect feature that selects the best Wi-Fi band for your devices, allowing for a single network name for both wireless bands, as well as voice control via Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant.

Setup was so easy with the app! I love how interactive and the amount of control I have using the app. Also, the armor shield (or whatever it’s called) that has a 30 day trial? Totally worth it when you have senior citizens clicking on spam and volatile links because they don’t know how to use the internet. Netgear blocks all of em! It’s super fast too. We stream everything and there have only been a few, extremely minor interruptions in tv viewing. Whereas before, we had 1-3 minute blackouts, constantly. Yes it is pricey but I do believe you get what you pay for. Working from home is so much better since I got nighthawk.

Android App is to basic, no ReadyShare options. No Windows App, you need to use a browser and t takes hours ton connect. Netgear Genie was great but it is not supported.
