Capable of throughput up to 6,000 Mb/s, the Nighthawk AX8 AX6000 Wi-Fi Router from Netgear supports Wi-Fi 6 (802.11ax), a wireless standard that allows for faster Wi-Fi speeds, more simultaneous upload and download streams, and greater energy efficiency for battery-powered wireless clients than previous Wi-Fi standards.
Equipped with four internal antennas, five 10/100/1000 Mb/s Ethernet LAN port, one 10/100/1000 Mb/s Ethernet WAN port, and a pair of USB 3.0/3.1 Gen 1 Type-A ports, the Wi-Fi 6-enabled Nighthawk AX8 AX6000 supports OFDMA (Orthogonal Frequency-Division Multiple Access) and multi-user MIMO (Multiple Input and Multiple Output) to deliver faster and more reliable Wi-Fi connections compared to Wi-Fi 5 (802.11ac). The router also boasts a Smart Connect feature that selects the best Wi-Fi band for your devices, allowing for a single network name for both wireless bands, as well as voice control via Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant.

Bought this alongside a Nighthawk router for a much needed 2022 update. With most wireless tech, I always expect set-up to be frustrating and take a few tries. But everything just worked when setting up the EAX80 extender. The unit itself is elegantly styled, and the Nighthawk app is quite good and very easy to use. Most importantly, our wireless is very fast and stable. Happy with our upgrade to Wi-Fi 6.

This NETGEAR Nighthawk Cable Modem WiFi 6 Router Combo is great. I’ve been purchasing NETGEAR modems or routers for years and they never let me down. When it comes to quality and reliability, this is the way. I had to update my combo modem and router to achieve my faster internet needs since I had it for years and recently bought this Nighthawk CAX80 Combo and I am pleased to say it was a great choice in my part and happy to see NETGEAR continues to deliver such well made devices. If you want to save some space and have a built dual system and still have that unstoppable performance then this is a great choice. Thanks NETGEAR.
