Capable of throughput up to 6,000 Mb/s, the Nighthawk AX8 AX6000 Wi-Fi Router from Netgear supports Wi-Fi 6 (802.11ax), a wireless standard that allows for faster Wi-Fi speeds, more simultaneous upload and download streams, and greater energy efficiency for battery-powered wireless clients than previous Wi-Fi standards.
Equipped with four internal antennas, five 10/100/1000 Mb/s Ethernet LAN port, one 10/100/1000 Mb/s Ethernet WAN port, and a pair of USB 3.0/3.1 Gen 1 Type-A ports, the Wi-Fi 6-enabled Nighthawk AX8 AX6000 supports OFDMA (Orthogonal Frequency-Division Multiple Access) and multi-user MIMO (Multiple Input and Multiple Output) to deliver faster and more reliable Wi-Fi connections compared to Wi-Fi 5 (802.11ac). The router also boasts a Smart Connect feature that selects the best Wi-Fi band for your devices, allowing for a single network name for both wireless bands, as well as voice control via Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant.

This router modem is so Fast… Was using older model, this one is 4 times faster. I live in 1600 sqft two stories house, and with this router I no longer need the wifi extender… Connection is super stable no disconnects. Installation comes with a very clear and super easy to use app, and took me 35min to establish connection. Should have bought this device earlier.

I went through multiple modem/router combos with both Xfinity and Fios. Both promised amazingly fast gigabit speeds but failed me. I finally upgraded to the nighthawk after doing some research online and boy they definitely kept their word about the speeds. Just on wifi with my iPhone 12 i am reading close to 500Mbps which is wayyyy faster then what I ever had before.

If you want the best this product is it. My whole house 3150sq ft is all covered and works without a glitch. Installation was easy and once you install forget about it. The wifi6 option is really good for devices that have wifi6. I use my samsung s20 note ultra that has wifi6 and it works way fast. Highly recommend this router for any one with isp plans 500mb or higher.
